Good, inexpensive. Good chewy fried meat, good chilli, good noodles! Come before 12pm to avoid crowds. Good strategy, get fried stuff (remember to pay), eat while u wait for your soupy goodness...

Rating this place pretty high due to the noodle taste is superb and the choice of side dishes here are just to damn a lot and nice !! Better than the 大树脚 as here is cleaner , less bugs and also personally feel the food is much better , more home feel.

Recommended to this place by a local. The curry sar hor fun is good. The variety of yong tau foo is good. Price is reasonable. Service is acceptable. Need to make sure u dun mix the cooked and raw food when u select them. They dun reheat the cooked food.

A random chosen place to eat in the outskirts of Ipoh and turn out to be good. This place offers plenty of choices of yong tau foo and noodles to go with them. The freshness of yong tau foo here stands out, so nice and springy were the stuffings. The soup base was tasty too. They even made stuffings with different kinds of veggies which I haven't seen before. The only thing they don't have is the sweet sauce or 'tim cheong' here. The ginkgo barley drink is one of the best I have tasted, do give it a try!

One of new favorite place in Ipoh. Was introduced by my uncle as he and his friends comes here quite often. I decided to give it a try when i came to Ipoh and it did not disappoint. I love their curry noodles, it is the Ipoh style where it is more watery compared to Penang or KL style and it is always topped with a mint leaf or bean sprouts. The curry flavour is very balanced and fragrant. Their yong tau foo spread is good. It is fresh and the taste of their fishball and fish pastes are commendable. On weekends they have this special meatballs which is something that is unique that I did not tried or found at other shops. Their coffee is also very addictive. Frothy and balanced between milk and coffee. So good especially on a hot day, that ice coffee is a bliss! Ambiance is normal coffee shop. Non air condition. So do be prepared to wear something comfortable as it gets quite warm in the afternoon. Parking is limited. So be prepared to park further and walk if need be. Price wise is decent as well. Not too pricey.

Nice place for some noodles with fresh fish ball and stuffed fish paste. Variety of choices to choose from. There's even stuffed cauliflower. Just that noodle portions are a little small - just order bigger portion of you're hungry. Drinks also nicely made at this kopitiam.
