The street food very nice with dozens of courts selling local dishes, we have many choices for dinner, lunch. But the taste of some kind noodles are really weird, not safety for stomach. Maybe you can get food poison

In a city jam-packed with wonderful food options, especially night markets, this one stands out among the very best Georgetown has to offer. Excellent food options of all shapes and sizes, including satay, popiah, Char kway teow, fried oyster, and all sorts of other meals, including deserts and beverages. Bear in mind that if you want to sit down at a table to enjoy your food, as is customary across most of Malaysia, you are required to buy at least one drink from the nearby drink stall. They'll make this quite clear if you sit down, but just something to keep in mind.

Surprisingly tasty ais kaceng. We wandered in on a whim from the street and enjoyed it. We were going to go back but then ran out if time. If you're nearby, pop in and you won't regret it.

Stroll down Kimberley Street and remember the lost culinary legends from the Curry mee Mah Jie sisters at Rope Walk and the heart of Teochew steamboat cuisine at Goh Huat Seng during my childhood. Several morning stalls operate for the breakfast crowd. Chinese pancake (RM1.50) is offered by 2nd generation octagenarian couple, a thick floury crust customised fresh from his hot plates, sweetened with grounded peanuts, cream of sweetcorn and white sugar. Made with an egg at RM2.10. His younger neighbour with no legacy, leaps at every opportunity to serve Char Koay Kak, a daikon rice flour cake fried with egg, beansprouts and dark soysauce like an omelette, overpriced at RM4.50 despite it being wood-fired. Further up the street towards the junction with Chowrasta market are two stalls operated by octagenarian. Celebrity Chee Cheong Fun with handmade sauces cannot be missed even by celebrities for RM2.50. There is also another Chinese pancake or Apom legacy meticulously carried on behalf of the 70 year old master maker at RM1.20. By 4pm, stroll back down the street and the famous Foochow Char Koay Teow with mantis prawn will be ready to fry. A basic portion at RM6, with mantis prawn at RM11 !!

Sreet food. Handmade noodles served with duck meat, pork intestine, curd blood, braised egg in a soup flavoured with cinnamon, clove and spice. Amazing taste. The drinks are Tong Sui..sweet liquid desserts. We had the Ling Zi Kang and Cincau with soya bean. Not too sweet, just perfect. Opens in the evening. There are many other stall along the road. The Chay Kuih Teow chap was frying non stop. He is just using charcoal to fry the noodles giving it the breath of the wok. The finish product looks fantastic. Glazed beautifully

First time visiting, not sure what it was like pre covid but I was expecting more. There are a few food carts along the street and a couple shop fronts with hawker stalls but I thought there would be more variety of food and more atmosphere although it does get busy. I tried the duck kway chap from Kimberley restoran and also tried the char kway kak from the morning street stall. Duck was good although the noodles seemed slightly undercooked, the kway kak excellent.
