The dessert stall outside has been here for a long time. U can order food from other stalls outside and they will bring it to u. The char koay teow used to be quite good but now its overly salty...

A decent enough place for an iced coffee. Service was fairly quick. An iced coffee with milk (susu kopi ais) was reasonable at Rm 1.70. Didn't see anyone eating here on a Sunday afternoon. Just people having drinks.

Here for some light bites at night. Small plate of fried oyster omelette was way over priced! Taste was ordinary. Pasembur was nothing special either. Condition of the shop is very dirty. You can get the same variety of Penang hawker food at Red Garden Food Paradise for the same price but much better environment I would have given 1/2 star if the app allows.

The Char Kuey Teow outside the stall is expensive, the portion is very small and don't bother ordering the 'special' as the mantis prawn taste unfresh and slimy. The Asam Laksa there is also not nice. The broth is bland. The Oyster omelette is also very pricey for what you get. The Oysters are so small and taste unfresh. There are plenty of other Oyster omelette stalls that sell bigger and fresher Oysters. Hokkien mee is edible there but not the best. The prawn broth is not as strong or tasty as some of the other stalls i have eaten. The Pasembur outside is also not nice. Mee goreng sotong outside is bland. Satay is expensive and not that great. Overall would not recommend this place at all. Not worth making the trip here.

I ordered a small portion char kuey teow just located outside of this shop and a small fried oyster omelette in this shop. To my shocking, they charged me at rm12 for char kuey teow (freaking expensive) where i previously have at max rm6). The mark up price is crazy. For those intended to try the food, pls walk away. The food quality is no longer acceptable.

My cousin recommended me this kopitiam for the Shrimp paste Chee cheong fan (2 strips for 3 ish). The shrimp paste was quite strong, some ppl might not like it, i was quite enjoying it in the beginning, but it was a bit too strong when eating till the end. Ordered their Kopi Beng, suprisingly was smooth and not sweet (costed 1.80 only). This kopitiam also has Nasi campur, fried char keow Tiaw (looks nice) and noodle stalls. I accidentally bumped into this road side stall (by an old uncle and aunty) selling apam balik (1 for 1.50), it was located right opposite this kopitiam, at the corner. Omg, the taste is so good and filled with lots of peanuts and corns. When i was leaving, i saw the uncle replacing the charcoal, no wonder it taste so nice!

Simple delight… Breakfast a few days back at “Sin Guat Keong Coffee Shop” along Lebuh Kimberley in Georgetown, Penang’s UN Heritage listed capital. The “uncle” selling the CCF has been there for 30 years! Penang style Chee Cheong Fun where the sweet sauce is replaced with a prawn paste based sweet sauce. A little bit of chili sauce, sesame seeds & fried shallots completes the dish. Tasty! @whiskydev

99 Penang Laksa one of the stalls at this coffee shop. The laksa was very good. The cook took his time to prep and ready the laksa noodles. The noodles were springy! The laksa soup was a bit on the salty side but still good. Garnishing also generous. Served with prawn paste. Very happy with my meal.
