Food is great, and its tastes more authentic than most Thai food restaurant out there. Slightly pricier, but it's damn worth for it's great taste and huge portion. Personally i would recommend it's Green Curry Chicken, Tomyam seafood and Minced Pork Rice. What can be improved? Maybe menu for single person, more lunch set or dinner set.

Had a pleasant service by the boss and they can actually customise the level of tomyam spiciness based on your preference. ;)

Although I seldom post on Thai food, I actually love Thai food a lot. I could never get enough of the Tom yum or som tam, plus other traditional Thai dishes that strikes my fancy whenever I dine at Thai restaurant. So that day, we were on one-day trip down South (Johor) and after finishing our work, we had to meet our future partner in Melaka. He suggested this unassuming Thai restaurant which he said suited to his taste. Words that came out from the mouth of a talented chef must be taken seriously. Thai music was playing as we pushed the main door open and typical Thai restaurant setup greeted us. Nothing fancy schmancy, just simple decor β—ΎMookata - instead of spicy soup, he asked for plain one with all the essential herbs inside for the flavour. We mixed the egg yolk with the meat and cooked in the soup, lastly dipped the meat into the sauce before consuming. β—Ύstir fried kailan with roasted pork belly - gotta love this dish. β—Ύsom tam - everything hits the right spot with me and the addition of peanuts (some didn't give peanuts at all) gave the crunchy element another notch. β—Ύdeep fried pork ribs with chilly sauce - it got me nibbling piece by piece... β—ΎThai style steamed squid - cooked nicely and in timely manner without that rubbery texture (overcooked!) complete with the sourish and spicy soup... Almost got me drinking everything if not for the Tom yum that came shortly. β—Ύkerabu kaki Ayam - a bit sweet but no fault with the crunchy chicken feet skin. β—ΎStir fried spicy pork - my least favourite dish of the night. By all means it was good but overshadowed by other excellent dishes. β—ΎSeafood tom yum - the right consistency in terms of sweetness, sour and spiciness. Southern style Tom yum with generous amount of seafood inside. All the dishes were traditional, simple and unpretentious and I appreciate this. It has been a while since the last Thai meal that satisfied me. They also sell Thai local product that's not easily available anywhere.

You get a homey feeling while dining in this cosy Thai restaurant, it's just few doors away from Wok & Pan which recently closed down. ? Food and drinks are above average, we ordered the pad Thai and Tom yum seafood with rice set. Pad Thai is using the flat thin kind of noodle, and include the 2 spices condiment for you to mix in. It's more to spicy and sour side, but waitress is attentive to ask you the spicy level you can take. They give generous amount of pork, but it's too chewy and thick to m taste. Tom yum seafood basically has 2 big prawns, mushroom and 3 pieces of lala. The soup is tasty and fragrant and feels like cooked with seafood broth. A piece of suggestion, for a more fulfilling appetite you may want to order some side dishes. Thai tea, red and green, both quenched our thirst and cut off the heavier food taste successfully.
