Horrible char siew noodle. Char siew is salty and toughโ€ฆ. I shall not comment on the service/hygiene/ambience.

Food was ok, won't say it's the greatest but it's super nostalgic. Brought back alot of memories from the time eating here years ago.

I don't understand the high ratings and its popularity among wantan mee appreciators. Took away a large order (a mistake... portions too large) because seller is not having dine in yet. Had to eat it at a mamak instead. They followed my request for extra veg and pickled chilli. Noodle texture soft and mixed in an uninspiring sauce. Charsiew hard and tasted very average. Dumplings were normal. Pickled chili crunchy but just sour. RM11 for a large sized below average tasting wantan mee. I wasted my time and hunger. Walk into the backlanes here (or any kopitiams near you) and you can find a cheaper wanton mee thats more deserving of your money plus you can dine in too. RM11 is very expensive for non air-conditioned kopitiam.

Used to like their wantanmee twenty years back. Was disappointed with the mee quality. Maybe others had catch up. Still love the beside the drain environment with rats running around.

Char Siew wasn't available yet when we visited. But the chicken feet was very good. The noodles done extremely well.

Taste is good. But it isnโ€™t amazing. Noodle texture is good, but they felt a little dry and sticky. Really needed the soup. According to my father, it tastes quite different than what it used to 50 years ago. I think the wantan itself is not bad. Pricewise itโ€™s rm8 each plate. The green chilli is really good though!

There is a wanton mee stall hidden in Petaling Street which has been there for many years. Not easy to find it until we asked someone. Look for the red bill board and there is an old uncle selling 'chin lung pau' (peanut kueh) at the front entrance of the stall. A rather small place inside so if you are willing to share a table with other people, you don't have to wait long. The look of the char siew was so yummy and so it was really nice. The dry style was delicious but not the bitter type. Noodles was springy and I liked best was the wanton, so flavourful with a hint of the 'roasted dried flat fish' inside. Wow, the soup base with the wanton tasted good to the last drop! ? The 'white chicken' was smooth and tender too.
