★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 2nd time camping at Kuala Razila. Enjoy the cool river, relaxing and cooking at camp site. Owner nice and funny person. Next trip will join more activity at Kuala Razila.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Superb hospitality from the owner, Mr.Razak and a female hornbill named "Awang". Great place to camp with the constant sound of the river flow. Washrooms is clean and tap water is from the river source so there'd be some residues. Mosquito repellent is advisable although there's almost none close to the river bank and chalets. Climate is hot and humid from noon to evening, cooler by the riverside and night time. Rain is frequent when we camped there.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Real rustic locally run place?...had a great time white water rafting ?outing run by the local resort. Didn't stay-in in their lodges which can room 5 pax with attached bathroom. They have different types of lodging ?️ including camping tents?️.
The rafting was lots of fun, lots of energy expended for plenty of thrills down the Gopeng river. Our guides were very particular about safety and didn't pack all 6 of us in one raft, we were in ?? separate rafts with each a guide.
After rafting down the river, we rode in an open truck back to the resort. Although we didn't stay there, as we came from Ipoh, we were offered the use of the bathrooms to clean up. After that, a simple local lunch? consisting of Ayam Wahdah, white rice, salted fish and local veg salad washed down with a cool drink.
All-in a good local fare to re-stock after an energising rafting? and a fun outing for our team.

Waterfall 3km from resort- 20 meter from road, pay RM3 perhead.
