★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Excellent char kuey teow, fried to perfection with lots of “wok hei,” or a well-heated wok. Big bursty prawns adorn my plate of char kuey teow. The light-coloured rice noodles belie a taste that gives a lot of kick. Ahh, I will be back for more. Just a push cart by an old kopitiam but nothing beats this.
There’s also another cart that sells Hokkien mee from 9 pm. The hokkien noodle pushcart is an extension of a shop up the road at Gat Lebuh Presgrave that sells till past midnight, till 3 am. So, looking for supper? This is the place.
