Great CKT. Doesnt have wok hei but tastes better than the penang ckt i have tried other than the one in cecil market. a good balance between flavour and portion. Unfortunately, the teh ping is very watered down as its not the boss brewing it anymore.

Roast pork rice is good. Must order the sour mustard vegetables, the spiciness and sourness are balanced. Char kueh teow is good too but long waiting. Pork ball noodles soup with pig stomach is worth to try KK seafood noodles soup is nice too

Finally, managed to buy the roast pork rice from the stall. Previously, came twice with no luck (long queue, sold out etc). The roasted pork was crispy, flavorful and most importantly, good balance between lean and fatty meat. (more lean than fatty, I like it that way)

Lucky Seng is where the legendary Robert CKT is plying his trade in the older part of PJ. The sight of an uncle dancing while frying CKT has been a talking point for many of my friends. Many hawker style restaurants operating in this commercial area of Section 17, circling the completed Seventeen Mall.. One weekend morning, I got up very early and feeling hungry. I woke the still sleeping tigress besides me, and instead of pouncing on me.. she was game and we quickly changed and headed out quietly without waking up the cubs. ◾Chee Cheong Fun - decided to order some "liew" minus the rice roll while waiting for the CKT. I like the sweet/chilly sauce combined. ◾Curry noodle - small sized prawns, shredded chicken, pork skin, char siew and other usual ingredients doused by the fragrant curry broth. Not the best curry around but should satisfy any hungry soul in the morning. ◾Char kuey teow - the star dish... True to "Robert CKT" namesake, the kuey teow was packed with the quintessential wok hei without being lumped together. Cockles were present and the addition of fried egg on top made the whole plate seemed brighter. Definitely one of the best around. Another breakfast place in the list.. permanently.

Super underrated kopitiam. So much variety. Especially Robert's ckt. Must try. It's being fried but their foreign worker now but still damn good. If u can't take spicy, pls tell them. The chicken rice and the pork noodle is good too. Parking is quite limited unless u come really early. But u can park in 17 mall basement. Very convenient. Come up the escalator and there it is.

Giving stars for the Robert CKT only.. Very unpleasant experience. Not because of CKT, will not even come this shop! There's better chicken rice at another kopitiam just walking distance from here! Came here alone and its full house. So stand for more than 10 mins to wait for people to leave. Finally, a family of three left the table and I sat down. It's a big one, so I don't mind sharing although covid situation, sharing still not preferable. There's a group of people came and ordered the chicken rice. The chicken rice aunty chased me off the table by pulling my chair to another table asking me to share with another lady who is alone. I don't mind but the attitude was like you alone and not eating my rice, please get off the table for the big group of customer. Just because I'm alone and I don't order your food, don't treat me as if I'm not paying for food to sit there!

Coming here is a special event for KL lang like me, but glad I did. Went full blown glutton and ordered few items to shared among 3 of us, the main attraction, Robert's Char Kway Teow, the curry mee, some pastries and a pork belly and bentong tofu puff noodle. The ckt was worth ordering, full of wok hei and quite amazed at the guy who cook it, non stop MO ing up and down with a beat like dancing. Definitely not Robert but could be related to him. Curry mee so so but don't mind ordering again as variety if we coming again for ckt. The Hakka mee also not too bad with a lot of minced meat, just a tad salty for my taste buds.

Fried char kwey teow is small plater portion but it's good. The curry noodles taste normal only. The place can get warm and the mixed rice lady boss is very talkative and noisy. Go there only if you want fried kwey teow.
