β β β β β I have been going to Madam Kwan for its Nasi Bojari and Nasi Lemak for more than 10 years. These 2 dishes are always good. Today, I had the chicken and mushroom with chicken rice. Mushroom was nice, chicken was dry and rice was not properly cooked. In addition, the service at this outlet was way below the usual good standard of Madam Kwan outlets. Our order kept going to another table. Dessert took ages to be served and the waiter did not even bother to clear the dishes after serving the dessert. A total let down. In addition, there was no proper social distancing practiced by the outlet manager. The outlet was not short of waiters... just a badly run outlet !

β β β β β Keep coming back here for the NASI BOJARI but this time decided to try CURRY LAKSA, FRIED KUEH TIAU, FISH NOODLE and BUBUR CHA CHA for dessert. The food and dessert were good, but the services need to be addressed. A side note: wondering why the services here quite poor?

β β β β β Food was nice, but I guess they currently suffer from a shortage of staff to serve customers at the tables. We got some of our orders very late. Our drinks came much later than our food. Once they provide better table service, I won't hesitate to give them maximum stars.

β β β β β A former favourite but turned must-avoid. Their so called "Truly Malaysian Cuisine" nasi lemak had no sambal, peanuts and ikan bilis, and the portion has really dwindled. Beef Rendang was just a scoop of pulled beef. Asam Mix Vegetables only had lady's finger and a couple of tomato slices, should just rename it to Asam Lady's Finger.
They have strayed too far from their heydays and direction. Am Truly Disappointed ?.

β β β β β Absolutely horrendous dish quality and service. Is this the kind of perception Madam Kwan management wants to give the world on how a famous Malaysian cuisine should be like?

β β β β β Food: overall tasty and although not vegetarian friendly restaurant but you may put a remark to request vegetarian fried rice petai or vegetarian Cantonese noodle. The restaurantβs staff is happy to clarify.
Service: Fast and reasonable wait time. Also service staff will provide hot water to rinse through cutlery upon request. Once food finished, the service staff also clean up the table to serve dessert.
Not a wheelchair friendly as all tables are arrange close to each other.
Will come again. Hope to see some option to include vegetarian friendly meal on menu too.
