β β β β β ?These ceramic tiles patterns were pictured at Logan Heritage Building, Lebuh Pantai (Beach Rd.) , Georgetown, Penang, Malaysia. It is a two-storey block of shops located within core zone of George Town UNESCO World Heritage Site. It was completed in 1883. It belonged to the most illustrious Kapitan Cina Chung (leader of local Chinese Hokkien community) who lived 1827-1901. The building holds a name of a famous lawyer James Richardson Logan. He is best remembered among locals of Penang for fighting for their rights at time when non-European were oppressed by the British colonial rule. Logan is said to be the person who coined the term INDONESIA for the Dutch East Indies. Born 1819 and died 1869. His remains buried at the Protestant cemetery in George Town.
It is interesting to know whether these are the authentic tiles or were they just scrapped in under a renovation of 2010.

β β β β β Indian Club. Music and dance floor is great. Reservations are required. Given facilities are good, those who use it depends on themselves. Some 'scenes' are unpleasant ?. Other than that a nice Ambient. Great place for clubbing
