The small shops in the market are " so so", offering different selections of food, clothing and household items.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Our local market. All the sellers speak English and are friendly. The prices though seem to be high, especially seafood and fruits.
The food court has all our favorites at cheap prices. The hokkien mee by the old couple and the curry mee are my favorite. The kuey teow soup from the “fish head soup” stall is great, although they curiously have no fish head. The kopi from both drink stalls are also great.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ There are many of stalls to choose from at this public market food complex. Local dishes such as char kuey teow, toast and egg. The overall price of every stall is quite cheap if compared to the food outside. Besides the main dishes like noodles and rice, you could also find some desserts like tongshui and pastries here.
