β β β β β Ordered takeaway from this restaurant for dinner. The soup broth has a nice and rich flavour. Tried their gyoza too. Overall food was good. However I do not think it is right for them to charge service tax for takeaways.

β β β β β Marutama ramen specialty is in that it serves its ramen in chicken soup, instead of the usual tonkotsu, shoyu or shio ramen. ? Chicken soup is not as rich compared to Tonkotsu broth but still yummy nonetheless.
Ajitsuke Tamago ramen (RM27.25) - egg was done perfectly, although I would have liked the chashu to be more flavorful and if it was torched or slightly charred. ?
? Aka Ramen (rm29) - the soup is mixed with 7 kinds of ground nuts and served with chicken meatballs, seaweed, spring onion, picked radish, coriander and lemon. Personally not a fan of the treatment of the meatballs and therefore did not enjoy it as such.

β β β β β Weird behavior from staff trying to stike up conversations when we are here to catch up with friends and overly assuming to the point of being intrusive. At the price points you'd expect a decent bowl of ramen but in reality it tastes like store bought chicken stock.

β β β β β Better than Ramen from Sushi King or any non Ramen specialize shop. But itβs no Match to any good Ramen shop. The price is higher than RM30 but donβt have the quality as good as other shop. No wow effect.
Jus better than my own cook.

β β β β β To fully enjoy the ramen here, order the normal broth but have the chilli paste separate. Also add lemon into the broth.

β β β β β Itβs been years since I ate their ramen.
Back then they were in KL Plaza I think (now Fahrenheit 88)
Then they moved to Avenue K I think. Then MIA.
Recently I was reminded about them & I did a search & found them here.
Still as yummy! Only ate the ramen & tamago. Might come back with more people to try the rest.
Also see quite a number of Japanese eating here. So itβs good when you see that ?
But service staff can be improved la. Otherwise ok.
I wish they not stingy with the chili tho.
