★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The sashimi is not as good now and it’s more expensive. I like quality of their wasabi which tastes fresh. But I was disappointed with the Sanma lunch set. The fish smelled bad and didn’t taste good. I couldn’t finish it. The chawanmushi seafood ingredients also tasted old. The fruits and miso soup is ok. Service is kindof slow. My Green tea was never refilled. The staff are clearly very busy and have many things to do but they’re still polite and courteous when taking your order.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Outstanding service. Staff was really friendly and professional. Came here with my big family. 10 person to be precise. They were kind enough to provide us with a private room. As for the food, you need to try the "Ankimo" (monk fish liver). Its a great substitute of foie gras (Goose liver). I eat lots of weird stuff. In summary, this shop is worth it. It ticks all of the box. Food was amazing and the selection was absolutely huge. Service was on point and as for the price, its actually affordable. Not too expensive but wisely priced.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This branch has bad customer service even when it’s not crowded at all.
We’re just two customers and the usher gave us a really long face and draggy voice greeting and seating us.
The manager (I assume manager since he dressed differently from the waiters) came to take our order and when we were listing our orders, we didn’t hear him ask how we’d like the beef done, so he repeated himself by cutting us and raising his voice in an abrupt and impolite manner. I was so shocked and taken aback, I accidentally let out “wow…”
Even if you need to repeat yourself, I’m sure there’s a nicer way to do it.
We only came to eat at Rakuzen again because the SS15 courtyard service was really good, didn’t expect Empire branch to be the opposite.
