★ ★ ★ ★ ★ After all the terrible reviews this was a surprisingly okay experience getting into a Tioman ferry. A bit of hassle going from one counter to the next but since we came early, 2 hours ahead of ferry time, there was no one else.
1st counter was to verify the online booking order printout. 2nd counter to get the ferry tickets. 3rd counter to pay the marine fees. Then 4th counter, just before boarding, to get the boarding pass. So a bit inefficient having to queue 4 times.
It was no problem for me since I was early and no queue at all except at the boarding pass counter.
So from my particular experience it was quite okay. The counters were clearly marked. The staff were all very nice and helpful, without the crowd. English spoken well if needed.
The recommendation is to come early and it'll be a pleasant enough experience.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Jetty do not have enough parking to accommodate tourist during peak season but you can always park legally at the nearby stadium for RM15 per day. Toilet at the jetty definitely needs an upgrade.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Check in Bluewater Ferry counter very fast. Don't bother about seat number. It's free seating. Lots of parking. RM 15/day. Parking at RAWA resort. But boarding into ferry was really slow.
