โ โ โ โ โ Amazing experience here. Love the ambience formed by the interior and dim lighting, also J-pop songs and Japanese TV program, throwing me back to Japan.
Foods are superb. The set menu is great, with miso soup that taste so authentic. Although may look expensive, this place is worthy the price
Edit: tried the 3 top Japanese restaurants in S2, I think Minato-ya is the best! Their cuisines are quite authentic and taste the best, also good quality food materials. Tried their other menu such as set and don, all are satisfactory!

โ โ โ โ โ High quality food, clean kitchen and friendly staff + boss. You can feel the love from all the food prepared. Price is on the higher side, but you get passion and effort of the cook. Staff can do a bit better to improve their English language communication skill as somehow they're not good in this. All in all, a satisfying experience.

โ โ โ โ โ Used to be really good. Now somehow the quality is just not there. Ordered a set meal and the only thing tasty was the steamed egg and the brinjal.. the udon and sushi etc was really just so so onlyโฆ Paid RM30 for the meal, not worth the price for that taste. Donโt know if they have changed chef etc. otherwise atmosphere is fine. Still the same.

โ โ โ โ โ This is a cozy Japanese restaurant in Seremban 2. It has been around for some years but remains mostly under radar from the public. Food is great in relation to price charged and its service is attentive. Hope Minato Ya could gain more attention that it deserves.
