Nice place in a part of Chinatown where it seems like they are trying to bring the area back to its old glory while keeping the old style. This is the second time I've been here for lunch first time was a coincidence as i was in Chinatown. This time I went to chinatown to get my lunch at this place. Can recomend their wings, they are perfectly crispy and juicy, simple dry rubbed and fried without any sticky saus or batter.

This is a historical building, about one hundred years old, that was converted into a restaurant/ pub in Kuala Lumpur's old China town district. The staff is friendly and the drinks are normal prices for the area. The decor is a twist of old and modern. I didn't try the food, but hung out during a rainstorm. The music is chill and it's conveniently located. 5/5 recommend.

Initial impression was Wow, what is this place doing in China Town. The building dates about 100 years. Many parts are left back to the orginal brickwork - very trendy wine bar came to mind. Then we ordered some drinks very reasonably priced for KL, and they always insisted upon a new chilled glass. Then we ordered Fish soup, which whilst small, it was delicious and inexpensive. I've not left many photos as there are enough to show everyone already. I've added it to my favourites in KL. Well Done !

First time... Not too bad. Great in ambience, the art deco is spot on for their theme following their cafรฉ's name. Since everyone was hungry, we ordered individual meal sets i.e. Sea food platter, Grill Chicken Chop with red wine sauce (one can taste the wine), Deep fry Chicken Chop and Braised Lamb Shank with red wine sauce (wine not so detectable here). Right off some drinks weren't available to order (it's 8pm!)..odd too! Anyways the meals were not served together.. the intervals between some dishes can be more than 10-15 minutes. If we come back again will try the platters for 5-6 persons... Looks interesting too! No food pictures... Since we dug in as soon as the plate is served ?
