★ ★ ★ ★ ★ For someone new at playing cello, I found the service at Ong Luthier extremely pleasant and helpful. My Yamaha electric cello slipped from the chair and landed on the carpeted floor. The bridge broke into three parts. I called Ong and he was very helpful and gave great advice. We organised for the cello to be delivered to his shop and within the following day, I got it back. The cello sounded significantly better with the custom fitted bridge as what Ong had promised. Great service and am thoroughly happy with the much improved cello! Thank you Ong Luthier!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Mr Ong was so patient, and took his time to explain and share what he thinks (diagnosis of my cello) when he could’ve just sold the string to me and send me off in less than 5 minutes but he DID NOT— he took his time to make sure I know how to take care of my baby cello and taught me So much even more than what my cello teacher had taught me . Really respect his passion and patience! 5 stars is not enough to express how professional he is!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The best cello repair experience. Ong was very professional in explaining the problem with my cello. He even went as far as quoting the price and time to get back my cello before the fix. From now on I'll only fix my string instruments or buy with him in the future.
His workshop is a part of Bass Bar cafe which is on the 2nd floor. Parking can be found at the basement, RM2 per entrance.
