Made 2 visits before writing this review. We noticed this restaurant because of their duck @ RM29.90 promo that was prominently displayed on a standee outside the restaurant. First time we went, ordered duck plus a soup to feed 2 adults 1 child. Was told after meal that to takeaway any leftover duck would cost RM5. White rice was horrid, the worse ever we have had. Had a choline aftertaste. Service was abysmal. Person in charge Alice was not friendly at all. Decided to visit again, primarily for the duck promo. 4 adults and 1 child. Same person, Alice, attended to us. Less than a minute after we sat down, she came and asked what we wanted to eat. We said come back later as we needed time to discuss what we wanted to order. 5 minutes later, couldn't find anyone to take our order. Had to wait a while till Alice came to take our order. Ordered the duck, was told must order 2 side dishes in order to get the duck at promo price. So we ordered another Tofu and bittergourd egg dish. 2 oil rice and 2 wontan noodles. Plus tea for 4 pax. Alice asked us if we wanted to try their special, some fish. When asked what fish, all I could understand was that it was some African fish and she couldn't really tell me more. Seemed rather annoyed that she had to explain to me what fish it was. So, didn't order because I couldn't figure out what I would be getting. Later, duck came and a serving staff came up to me and asked if what other dishes did I order. Apparently, Alice left the restaurant for a walk (At 1:30pm during peak lunch hour?) they didn't know what rice dish we ordered. Had to repeat again that we ordered 2 oil rice n 2 wontan noodles. Had problem with communication as staff was not local. Time to pay bill, husband paid via credit card and when I checked bill, realised I was overcharge for tea. Was billed 8 pax instead of 4pax. Went to counter to ask for a refund. I could sense the annoyance emanating from Alice, like why am I making a fuss over small change, which by the way was RM12 before taxes. She gave me back RM 12 in cash. By then, we were quite unhappy with the service and attitude that we just wanted to leave. Only when I left then I realised that I was still overcharged as I was overcharged RM12 + 16% tax. Duck was good, oil rice was alright, wonton noodle was overly salted, tofu dish was alright & egg bittergourd was overly salted and soaked in oil. I would not recommend this restaurant unless you don't mind the fact that staff (mainly referring to Alice) behaves as if she is doing a favour serving you. Male kitchen staff, who were gathered around Alice while I spoke to her about being overcharged also looked thunder faced.

Actually if possible, this place should only get half a star for food. Came for dinner after seeing the promotion of RM 29.90++ for a whole duck. When the duck came it was disappointing. Normally I will stop eating until everything is finished and still not enough as we love roast duck. But upon eating the first piece, I am already full. The skin was crispy, but tasteless. The flesh was dry, hard and tasteless. Picture on banner looks like Hong Kong style professionally roasted duck. But come out look like budget roasted chicken at hypermarket. Worse duck I ever had in my entire life. Tasted like roast chicken instead of roast duck. After dinner I politely asked for the bill. I was charged RM 5 for taking away my leftovers. I can understand if they want to charge me for the container. But I was charged RM 5 for take away on top of service charge. Actually when food taste bad RM 5 is also alot

Roast duck is quite good. Not fatty compared to the dirty one at SS21/37 uptown or the one at paramount.

The only food I have eaten while at the restaurant is their RM29.90 whole duck and it is good, crispy and fat. I cant speak for other dishes but for the duck and the fried vegetable such as the yau mak, it is fantastic. Service is so so but other than that really just go for the duck.

Shared the Lunch Set A (3 treasures + fried egg + half a salted egg + vege + soup + drink). Cost RM21.90 net. The captain wasn't pissed that we didn't order more, yet gave good service. Automatically provided us sharing plates and extra soup. The food was quite good, all three roasted meats passed. Other items on the menu more for group dining. Accepts TnG wallet and FavePay.

If you like service without a smile & rushed to place your order, this would be the place for you. The service crew including the lady captain seemed to be in a foul mood and faces are as black as tar. She got an order wrong and was quite reluctant to answer questions when asked. The menu was spotted with stickers all over, i'm assuming its to coverup dishes that are not available. Main menu has very little illustration/pictures of dishes and dish names are vague - does not convey a good description of the dish, hence we ended up asking for more details on what the dish contains - which the captain wasn't too pleased with. Orderd the set lunch A set which came with a free drink of the day. Siew yok, char siew and roast duck was pretty tasty. It was served with a fried egg and half a salted egg. The other dish that came recommended was their pork noodle soup with a choice of kuay teow or thick beehoon or mix of both. Expect to find sliced pork belly, mince pork, liver & kidney in there. The addition of fried pork lard gave the overall flavour an added boost. Overall food was ok but they really need to improve on service levels.
