Those look for traditional and beautiful fabrics will absolutely love this place as they offer the best quality with the great bargain you may have. Besides this local market consider living museum for me where you may find not only good food licensed locally but also any antique that may not easy to find in another region. Absolutely heart beat of Terengganu

β β β β β Lots of varieties ..... Affordable pricing. Do NOT haggle but politely ask for discount ! ..... But don't be excessive. Although similar to chatuchak Bangkok the price here is already close to cost price so buy in bulk and ask for discount. Have fun.

β β β β β Didnβt go into the mall, went to the wet market instead. Bought some local fruits there like rambutans, guava, preserved mango etc. Relatively clean and organized compared to many other places.

β β β β β Pasar Payang is such a huge market in Terranganu. Lots of food stalls, cloth shops, fresh fruits, fresh vegetables and etc. I really enjoy to explore and support the locals!!!

β β β β β There's a saying 'shop till you drop'. Got some beautiful batiks for ourselves and headed on to other outlets. An eye catching place indeed but we did not stay for long due to the crowds thou strictly with SOP....
