★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Not much activities here as this is the ferry terminal going to Batam and Tanjung Pinang. Bus Terminal is very crowded even on weekdays and if you are lucky during off peak season. The terminal is quiet. Local foods are very reasonable and if you live sambal chilly. You will be very much at home. Hotels or wisma are clean enough. Night life is very limited.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ One of the ferry-terminals for people to travel to and fro Indonesia. There is a 10-15mins free parking for cars. Parking seems to be always near-full.
E-hailing cars have a hard time waiting for riders as we are "not welcomed".

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Pasir Gudang ferry terminal - gate to cheap way to travel to Batam, Indonesia. But no convenient public transport to terminal, taxi only. Closest bus - Pasir Gudang bus station, in several km.

1. Bought online, time 11:45am
Long queues, check in passengers have to queue with those who not yet bought the ticket, stupid
2. Ferry depart at 12:15, a 30 minute delay, i have to delay my schedule at batam, bad
3. I am sweating in the ferry, it is hot inside
4. seat distance between two are narrow, also narrow leg space and dont have place to put my luggage

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Online bought ticket for 1pm. Arrived at terminal 10am. Was told no more tickets even though i bought 1pm and arrived 3 hours earlier. So had to take ferry at 4pm. What's even worse is 5.30pm ferry only start departing because they say want to see if there's anymore people coming onboard. Don't bother to choose the time slot you want when purchasing online.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Slow process. Was told ferry full although I had a booking online. Reached on 9am 21 April 2022 Thursday waited till 4pm. Confusing process, no sign boards or process flow to read. Not treated like a human. No covid SOP. Staffs yelling here and there. And saw a staff picking up a fight with customer while just hit by luggages while crowding. Lousy, and would not come back again!
