β β β β β the management of animals is EXTREMELY POOR. the absolute worst.
1. the enclosures are too small and not cleaned frequently enough. keeping two puppies in one cage when you have other empty ones.... just why. they look miserable too, and dont behave like normal puppies do - - bright, active and cheerful-- instead they look too alert and wary, disoriented and didnt even reacted to humans passing by, when usually puppies would respond to others. these puppies will grow up with a lot of social problems...
2. the munchkin cat is definitely suffering depression. it kept pacing around the glass door the whole time i watched it for five minutes. my sister went to the shop 3 months ago and noticed that it had been pacing around since then. it's definitely not okay. it's displaying a stereotypic behaviour---an abnormal repetitive behaviour which can only stem from poor enrichment and management. even its water bowl was dirty, as if it wasnt cleaned for DAYS. the cat lost its spirit and only the shell was left behind... it didnt even react to any sound or any other presence in the room... it's broken. no one would want to take him home...
that munchkin is almost 3 years old btw, he's been locked up there for way too long.
this is too cruel. why would you sell animals that are deliberately bred for their 'aesthetic value' when they're more predisposed to many more health problems? why would you sell animals in this type of poor environment and lack of environmental and social enrichment. why would you continue to support pet breeding when there are much more stray, abused animals out there in need of a better home?
you can continue with your store business but stop selling pets if you can't even give them a good start in life.
ADOPT DONT SHOP, EVERYONE.

β β β β β My husband was really excited to come here to get supplies for our aquarium at home. Last time we came here was a few years back and it looked great back then. Rude staff, but still great. This was years ago.
It is very sad to see the shop's current situation. A shadow of its former glory. The aquariums are in such poor state, some of them even had jentik-jentik in them. How can the staff ignore this, just sitting behind the aquarium counter with a "on break, do not bother me" sign on it. If the aquariums are in this state, every staff should be up cleaning it, atleast avoid the risk of a dengue fever to staff and customers.
My husband bought a fish just to save it. What a shame, the aquarium section had such potential.

β β β β β Pets Wonderland located on the 4th floor of Mid Valley shopping mall.
This is one of the famous pet shop in Malaysia and it's also the place I bought my Guinea pig since 8 months ago when it were six months old. My Guinea pig very active & friendly to everyone. This time, I came back here to check out some food for my Guinea pig. I love my Guinea pig.
I do concern about the pets there as they seems not been taken care carefully but one thing for sure Pets Wonderland has variety kind of products for most home pets.

β β β β β Horrible pet store. All the cages, tanks & enclosures are not well maintained & dirty. Pets can be seen stressed. Wouldn't be surprised if they were ill. Pity them. Not sure why this store is so badly run.

β β β β β A very poor manage pets store.
Having good mood to shop some supplies for the cuties hamster.
However, when I was looking at the species variant available, I saw 2 siblings syrian feeding of a dead body.
And in another tank, a parent Syrian white earring on little babies.
Most of the stuffs and on rack products are covered with dust. Itβs really dirty and obviously no cleaning has been conducted from some time.
Thereβs even webbings in the hamstersβ tank and with so much dust.
Please take care of the breeds in the store.
With the slogan, βWhere pets are Familyβ, I really donβt feel any warm feelings from the staffs.
Will not visit anymore.
Competitor store are more preferable.

But
All the animals including cat, dog, guinea pig, birds mcm not in a good condition...

β β β β β Most of the animal enclosures, especially the bird and small mammal section look like they have no been cleaned nor maintained in a long time. The mammals have no light at all, and the bird cages look plain disgusting. Overall a disappointing visit to Pets Wonderland.

β β β β β Didn't take lots of pictures because i prefer to enjoy this pet's fair without phone ? these pictures only to show my sisters ? but the pet's fair really nice. So many pets/animal to see. Just need to pay rm5. But sad. The fair only for 3 days ?
