★ ★ ★ ★ ★ First time tasted such a muscular chicken, we ordered the kampung chicken and it is really muscular, taste like the kampung chicken that we had in childhood, nowadays kampung chicken is no longer really kampung chicken. Their fish ball and meat ball also nice, and my husband love their soup, drink 4 bowl of them. Highly recommend

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Excellent food. The place opens at 6pm but there is a queue at 5.15pm. The owner gave a number ticket so that the customer can enter the shop accordingly. The food is served very quickly and they taste fantastic. Prices are very reasonable too. Will definitely come back again when the crowd is less busy.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ One of the best chicken rice places in Ipoh. The ginger and chilli sauce is so addictive. Rice is fragrant and flavourful. Glad we discovered this place while driving around. Will definitely return for more!

The beansprouts were crunchy and sweet.
We ordered the kampung chicken as a healthier alternative and it was considered smooth by kampung chicken standards. Taste wise I found it alright.
The rice was fragrant and well cooked. If you enjoy steamed/ poached chicken you will likely enjoy this place.
Fish/ pork balls soup was also on the menu but we didn’t try it.
The ginger condiment was yums.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Decent chicken rice, don’t find anything really special about the kampung chicken though.. The Ipoh horfun has an interesting texture, it is very silky. And the Ipoh bean sprouts are extra crunchy!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Our lunch stop on the way to Penang. Just off the highway & not so crowded. Friendly staff. Affordable. Clean & well organised. Parking available easily as well.
We shared half a chicken, some giblets, couple of pork balls & a portion of tauge. Food was amazing. Rice was fluffy & flavorful. Really addictive ended up having another bowl. Tender & smooth chicken. Not too salty. The tauge was fresh, crunchy & nice. Their chili & ginger sauces are a must too. Packed with flavor & goes really well with the meal. I think they sell them bottled.
Overall a great lunch. Definitely one of the best chicken rice meals in Ipoh. Highly recommended.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ My recent usual place for Ipoh chicken rice. The reasons are the food is superb with reasonable price. The most important is, it is very convenient, near to the PLUS highway. No need to drive all the way to Ipoh town. Definitely suit for those traveling along plus highway between KL and northern region
