★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The Restaurant has sufficient parking just be careful the parking attendent may ask you to give him money.
1. Char siew was awesome, has the right amount of fat and meat, it isn't melt in your mouth but its tender with charred bits
2. Nyonya Steam fish was also super yummy - more like chilli type of gravy with burst of flavor and not too sour
3. Tofu with minced meat - bland and overcooked long beans which was weird
4. Claypot sweet potato leaves - cooked well and has pork lard but was too salty so couldn't taste much
Restaurant was clean, windy and spacious.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Opened space seating, ideal restaurant to drop by if you are visiting Thien Hou Temple. Fast service of food, tasty and reasonable price.
Vietnamese prawn is a bit heavy on the coconut milk, one of the prawns was under cooked (perhaps frozen too cold). Price is reasonable. Will definitely visit again. Ample parking space opposite of the restaurant.
Recommend the Nyonya steamed fish.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Haven't been here in years and finally when we decided to come it rained cats and dogs. They have a little gate at the side of the restaurant for drop off and pick up, which is QUITE convenient but because the road is only one way in and out so it caused quite a jam in the heavy rain.
Anyway I feel like the char siew is still as it was before. There was quite a good balance of lean to fat meat. My star dish is the claypot crab rice drizzled with the buttermilk sauce - damn good I swear. Weird that they fry(?) the crab before cooking it with the sauce. Gave it a very starchy shell and I didn't like that.
The prawns that came in the curry prawns weren't very fresh.
All in all, still worth a visit for the claypot crab rice and char siew.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Cze Char (Char Siew, tang hoon cabbage soy bean paste, curry fish head, tang hoon crab, Thai beancurd, golden sand prawn). After such a long time and with travel going back to pre Covid days. We brought our mum to visit our Malaysia relatives in KL. Love the golden sand shrimp dish (gotta dip the mantou in the sauce!) and their char Siew!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The foods here are delicious, decent portion size and value for money. Advice to make a booking if dine in after 230pm, 3pm-6pm always fully booked.
It’s very nearby the city center but quiet and close to natures, there’s also a big space for free parking. This restaurant has many tables and able to accommodate many people to dine in together. It’s a local Chinese restaurant without a menu, but you could ask the waiter what are the options (eg. Vege, chicken, fish, pork, etc).

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It's been some time since we last visited Siu Siu Restaurant. Quality has dropped compared to previously. Hope that this is one-off situation.
- Curry fish 越南鱼片 - quality and portion still good
- Lotus root mixed vege 莲藕炒杂菜 - pricey and not as good as expected
- Sweet sour pork 咕噜肉 - soggy and hard
- Signature tofu 招牌豆腐 - big chunk tofu finished, replaced with smaller tofu, not as good as before.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I especially love the steamed chicken 玉兰鸡 and the char siew. The chicken is so tender and it’s perfect when you pair it with the fragrant minced ginger 姜蓉. My brother recommended it and I came back for the second time. Will definitely revisit. I came for lunch on my first time and it was all packed. Second time was for dinner at 630pm weekday without reservation and the crowd is definitely less.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The seafood curry is full of lemak @ yummy. The pork ribs is nicely marinated and juicy. Salted fried squid is nicely done and flavorful. All is good and affordable. Service is efficient. The place has a back to nature atmosphere@ surround with trees.
