Local Chinese foods. Some vegan menu but you need to ask for it

One of my favorite hokkien mee place. Although the place is supposed to be famous for its Hakka marble dish, most patrons here ordered the hokkien mee which is very good. Besides that the loh mee and fried Assam laksa are dishes I would highly recommend. The place is very clean as you can see the staff sanitizing the place during the day while I was having lunch.

The nostalgic hakka 'shin pun chi' in springy dough flour with traces of yam and cuttlefish was and still is a dish we much loved now as it was in our younger days, mostly a homemade dish served in traditional taipu families. Another authentic hakka dish is the 'pak gor', a flat dough in sheet form but sliced into mouth size morsel is also homemade just like 'shin pun chi. The hokkien mee which is more common and a everybody's favourite is also part of our menu. Their 'lor mee' which we did not order could be counted being another favorite here as vinegar sauce is abound on every table.

First time trying Hakka yam marble (suan pan zi 算盤子) a few months ago. Was an interesting texture for me, but I grow to like it the more I eat. Bittergourd soup was good, not too bitter. Especially LOVED the fried rice!!!

This is one of the restaurants where one could find topnotch Hakka marbles either with yam or pumpkin flavour, and they do serve excellent authentic Hokkien Mee together with other typical “dai-chow”. Normally packed with crowds during weekend (before MCO period) and owner is “no-nonsense typed” personality during ordering, so better be “behaved”, LOL!

Fried Laksa is speacial and good, sufficient of 'Wok Hey'. The other dish, Pumpkin Hakka Marble, is decent, taste is good but no surprise. Overall worth to give it a try. Fried Laksa - RM10 Pumpkin Hakka Marble - RM16
