β β β β β It's my first visit to Saravanaa Bhavan, Bangsar. Definitely had a great Dining experience here despite the restaurant being busy. Great service by Mr Sasi. Also great food with lots of varieties on the vegetarian dishes.

β β β β β So many choices of dosa and dishes on the menu. The portion is a lot to me and really filling. I like the paneer dosa. Tried the one with paneer and mushroom this time. Tasty and full of ingredients. Very authentic and delicious Indian Vegetarian food.

β β β β β I placed an online order today, ordered masala vada, rasa vada and chapati. Firstly the order came on time, but food was totally bad. There were no pictures of the food. The masala vada was soaked in rasam, which was too salty and soggy! Then the chutney was spoilt, for the vada! Not acceptable for the high price charged.

β β β β β I have had breakfast here many times, the most recent was last Sunday. I love the thosai they serve. I find the restaurant clean, the waiters decently attired, the service good. I would definitely recommend Saravanan.

β β β β β A great vegetarian place for Indian dishes. Their thosei selections are superb and mouth watering. Had the coriander thosei with the sambar vadai, its oh my god moment. Masala and Madras tea is just nice to finish up your meal. It's fully vegetarian and they've got a whole host of sweets delicacies. Accepts Maybank qr pay and debit/credit. Parking, well, this place is located at Jalan Maarof, so parking is a hell unless your lucky. Otherwise parking further and walking to the place or get a Grab to get here. Love this place. Waiters are polite and prompt.

β β β β β Was my favourite South Indian restaurant. But quality and service has gone down much lately. See the rotten cauliflower used for Gobi65!!

β β β β β Service was a bit slow given that the shop was not very crowded in the evening . They hurried the order once asked . Food tasted good . Bright lights and the shop doesnβt have strong smell I.e well ventilated . Fair price given the prime location along Jalan Maarof . Various e-wallets accepted here.

β β β β β Guess what we found in our takeaway from SB today. Two strands of hair in just the two dishes I opened and ate. Had to throw away the remaining dishes we bought.
Buckle up guys, if few strands of hair can find its way in to the food, don't know what else can during a deadly pandemic. And the dosa batter is beyond sour and way too fermented. so was the idlis and red chutney. We pay a ransom for your food believing in hygiene standards as well. Such a turn down this morning.
