Their Lei Cha, the signature dish of Simple Life, is a traditional nutrient-rich Hakka tea-based soup dish that is a concoction of pounded tea leaves, basil, mint, herbs; all which are rich in nutrition. There are plenty of vegetarian dishes on their menu... Recommended.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A cozy over 20 tables of varied sizes including traditional cafe design seats spread inside & outside premises. Slightly warm sitting outside outlet. Friendly waiting staff who allowed us to sit outside. Allow staff to recommend their specialty unless you have your favorite dishes. Good Pu-er tea pot with unlimited hot water refills. Quick vegetarian order & served in 15min. Nasi Lemak had Good red rice texture, spicy sambal, slices of tempeh with seaweed tofu crunchy (“anchovies”), nonya pickle cucumber/ carrot & topped by a sunny side ?. Well marinated & cooked pumpkin & crunchy “keropok”. Tasty carrot & turnip soup. Non noisy even though sitting in an open area.

Ordered a mixed bean soup but it didn’t taste fresh and in fact the smell was odd…so we notified the waitress but they did not give us any explanation at all.
We told another Malay waitress about it but she came and said it wasn’t their problem as the previous customers did not have any issue with the soup… atrocious customer service with bad hospitality. This specific Malay worker was extremely rude to us. I hope the management will take this into account.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Should rename herbal broth soup to cabbage soup..it’s 80% cabbage. What happened to the chef? Usually I would dine at the outlet in Paradigm mall, food quality is better.
If you like decent size portion then you might feel satisfied, I couldn’t finish my meal. Or maybe I’m just full from all the cabbage..

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ was pleasant ambience. the fruit cocktails were tasty. so we're food - we ordered roti canai set. we had also tried 10 grain fried rice (eggless) with ginger essence and acar. can be back again to try something else.
