★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Being her student for almost a decade I am very grateful for Laxmi teacher’s teaching.Currently, my sisters and I are taking up varnam lessons in both vocal and instruments like harmonium, veena and violin.She is one of the most dedicated and professional sangeetam teacher in town. In this 9 years we have learned a lot from her. Laxmi teacher always make sure we truly understand the meaning of the kirtans we learn as she values the essence of the raagas and the devotion behind the songs. She also teaches us various technicality in terms of singing . If you are looking for a guru who emphasises devotion and technics in carnatic I would highly recommend Laxmi teacher.

Someone who monitors closely and corrects each and every individual on their errors to make sure they are on the right path. She is a talented teacher who have so much knowledge that she would share to her students and ensure they carry all the talents along with them when they step up.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Mdm.Laxmi is kind, friendly and patient with her students. She has vast musical experience and is an excellent teacher.
She walked me through music theory, as well as the details of the violin. As an adult student, I was nervous about picking up an instrument but I am now pretty confident on playing few notes in violin. She taught me so many techniques in playing violin which you can't learn from other sources like Google or Youtube.
Im so blessed to have a such Guru (teacher) who is giving me the knowledge of Music. Thanks for the great lesson and I look forward to many more!
I highly recommend her for those who are looking for professional and most experienced sangeetham and music instrument teacher.

Parents should really send their kids to learn Sangeetam. Not only she teaches music but also moral values and stories of God and Goddess. Highly recommended. ?
