★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Their service was tiptop! They really showed that they care about their customers. Room was gorgeous!! Food on the other hand could use a little more work. The salmon steak I had was a little on the salty part, hope there was more breakfast choices though..
One thing that I really dislike about the place is probably the soundproofing. You can actually hear people moving furniture or knocking on the top floor. Overall I enjoyed my weekend getaway! Thank you sembayu villa for serving us!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ There rooms and view was spectacular but I was very disappointed because I was not informed that the hiking trail was closed. The breakfast was alacarte, they should highlight this during booking. Breakfast was not luxurious at all.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Everything is Overly priced. For the room, if it’s anything more than rm 1.2k, room has nothing like a proper nice hotel / resort for the price. Furnitures, attention to details, everything was cheap furnishing. Food on the menu, rm 58 for Ayam penyet, rm 78 for iKan siakap, (knowing u r stucked in this area with no easy options for food access) rm 180 for decor where hotels of this room price gives towel swans folding decor for free. For the view and the room, is ok. But for the whole package experience, service is bad, customer service is also untrained.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Clean & 'Modern' villa at the peak of the forest, mesmerizing view from the balcony with chilling weather, a hidden gem in Malaysia.
Positives:
Room is clean & new however i'd expect toothpaste & toothbrush is provided too.
The view from balcony (You can't find this elsewhere).
Food tastes good, can request to dine in in room and the staffs will bring the food to you.
Staffs are friendly & helpful (Shout out to Patrick & Agnes).
Negatives:
Lot's of bugs so make sure you closed your door properly at night.
Kitchen closes too early, and shoud have at least a mini bar with some snacks in the room.
Our room is pretty close to the restaurant so is a bit noisy during dinner time.
Overall is a unqiue staying experience in Sembayu Villa, should give it a try and experience it yourself!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Not exactly cheap by any standards but sole plus point is that it is a decent getaway near to the hinterland away from KL city. The drive up along the new highway ( known as the Malaysia NZ highway) is nice. It would be good if the premium rates charged are inclusive of meals as it is not easy to drive in and out of the place given that the roads are narrow and gets really dark at night. Much more improvement needed on customer service. Long response time for messages and enquiries, lack of breakfast choices ( 1 choice only actually), noisy aircond, etc. The customer service deficit seriously needs to be fixed as it devalues the next-to-nature proposition of the otherwise decent stay. My advise is to manage expectations for what you are forking out. The new manager did try to make up for the service deficiencies but overall, there is still much left to be desired. It is a 'all hardware, no software' kind of situation.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I stayed in a quad room (Cendana) which had a beautiful view of the hills and valley. We went on a rainy day, so we didn’t get to see a sunset but we were presented with low clouds and a misty mysterious aura. The hills and valley were pristine. The air fresh and smelling of green grass after a tropical rain.
Surprisingly there was no mosquitoes but at night, there were insects if you leave your light on and your doors open.
Service was good especially Irene who was pleasant and friendly. She even helped us take photos. Her smile made the place prettier.
The cafe serves good local food. We enjoyed the ayam penyet and the Nasi lemak very much.
We enjoyed the serene environment. A good place to relax and recharge. Wifi wasn’t great in my room.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Really worth the money. Beautiful room and facilities. The food was good as well exceeded expectations. The service was excellent they really take care of their guests.
There is a stream nearby which is a cool place to go as well.
Ask Patrick for recommendations if you want to visit seremban for a meal on your way. He will tell you the local spots which are better than the tourist shops.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Stayed here with a family of three on the 2nd of February 2022 for a night. Customer service was excellent even before the trip. Anis reached out to us to provide details of the location and our trip. A covid antigen test is required 24-48 hours before the stay. Hence it feels great knowing that they prioritize health and safety.
Originally was allocated the Kulim room but switched to Cendayu. The room was immaculate. It came with a bathtub inside the room and a hammock as well as seating area on the balcony. As it's located on a hill, the view was breathtaking.
Check in was seamless and quick. Every room has a designated parking. If you drove to the location, you would not want to drive out at night as the single lane road may not be lighted up. Nevertheless, when you get here you would not want to get out. Sembayu Villa has a pool and foosball table as well as a gorgeous swimming pool.
Food was scrumptious! They have both western and local options. You'd want to pre-order your dinner before 5pm (they would send you a pdf menu) so that they can prepare it in time for when you'd like to have it. When we were there, lunch wasn't offered. Breakfast was complimentary.
Sembayu Villa is most definitely a place I'd recommend if you love nature or simply would like a break from the hustle and bustle of the city. A special shout out to all the staffs of Sembayu Villa and Agnes who provided a warm customer service experience. Thank you, thank you, thank you!
