Seventeen Residence, comprises 425 serviced apartments housed in two blocks on top of a 10 storey podium.
The podium comprises of a neighbourhood mall on Levels 1 and 2 and approximately 1,000 car parking bays from Levels 3 to 9. Recreational facilities are situated on Level 10.
Adjoining but seperate from Seventeen development is probably the most modern market in the country, constructed by the developer of Seventeen for MBPJ as a CSR. The market will complement the neighbourhood mall which will have Aeon Maxvalu Prime as its anchor tenant

β β β β β This is not a luxury or super premium development to begin with, so it probably isn't very fair to expect a high level of customer centricity or a culture of empathy and kind consideration to be practised and shown to you despite having spent a small fortune purchasing their property.
However, it's quite disappointing when a senior retail management official condescendingly dismisses any reasoning and request for assistance when I had accidentally lost my visitor parking ticket and made to leave my car in the parking lot overnight because no one was able to do anything (although quite late) but at an hour where the car park was still open to public. And to make things worse, the next morning I was asked to pay the RM50 fine to be released from the parking lot despite being inconvenienced with my car stuck in the parking lot for so many hours, and having no proper established SOP for me to leave the parking the night before.
You can say that I was wrong to have been careless with the ticket, I should have parked in the resident parking instead, a fine is a fine, it's only RM50, it's the company policy and you can also accuse me of being petty, acting entitled, expecting special courtesy and to be given an exception.. etc etc. These are valid arguments and I can accept all these criticism on my part.
But this is Malaysia where we are allowed freedom of expression and differing opinions. And in Malaysia, even with a saman or when committing a heavier offence, you can appeal through official channels (not under-table :)) for a waiver or discount -- what more a private parking lot where all you need to do to show some goodwill and keep your client happy is to press a button and let him off from a minor issue of negligence just one time. This is over and above the fact that most unit owners have been kind, patient and understanding with the company's lack of competence and efficiency in resolving defects and problems in all our units for so long now.
I'm just another insignificant home buyer but this will likely be the first and last property I ever buy from Conlay.

β β β β β Convenient location with lots of good hawker food (which is a plus!). I like that I can also get all my groceries without leaving the area. Wish there was a shuttle bus to the MRT though. It's so near yet so far T_T
