β β β β β Nice cake especially chiffon Yam cake. The two layer of yam pastes is nice, not very sweet and the taste of yam is strong. The cake is soft, much better taste than traditional Pandan chiffon cake. Worth trying.

β β β β β Sugar free cakes are sold here during weekends, either chiffon or swissroll. Varieties of flavours differs. There are black sesame, orange, pandan, chocolate etc. Buns are also also baked and sold here. You can have a cup of coffee with your cakes here but limited seats available

β β β β β My favorite cake to take back to KL now. The yam chiffon cake is fantastic and you cab feel the weight of it in your hand. Their tiny size pure chiffon cakes are good too... Love the black sesame one.

β β β β β Discovered this place by chance. Gave them a try and never regretted it. Their unique layered chiffon cakes are a must buy! I especially love their signature pandan & yam flavours. Their cakes are not too sweet. Perfect size to share with friends and family.

β β β β β Very nice yam layer cake!!! I was exploring on Google Map things to eat and buy in the area, and happened to chance upon this shop. It is located along the same stretch of shops as the beancurd stall, few shops away from the famous bakery selling kaya puff. I love it that the cake is soft, the yam layer is so thick and you can feel the yam bits in the paste. The best thing about the layer cake is that it's not sweet at all, and the yam tastes original. The thickness of the yam paste may not be that consistent for all pieces (some can be quite thin so make sure you choose your piece!), but the boss/staff had kindly allowed us to choose the piece that we wanted. We chose one which had a very thick yam layer on top. The Chinese lady serving us was quite chatty and friendly too. This box of layer cake in the picture was selling at RM18. They have another chiffon cake version, which my mom said she's going try the next time. Definitely a hidden gem in the vicinity!
