★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Unbelievable, it was so bad. We were here today and left about 1.25pm. Was told all teppan beef were out of stock, so chosen the Tori (teppan chicken). It tastes simply of frozen chicken and some sweet sauce. Ordered another prawn set, the prawns were soft, mushy, not fresh. 2 miso soup worse than instant ones off supermarket shelfs. Then when we left, I saw beef on teppan.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Shiokaze Teppan is a hidden gem outlet in Sand and Sandals Desaru Resort & Spa for my dinner dating. Me and my love one enjoyed it and must come again either for dinner or lunch. There are other outlets too have yet to discover. After dinner, in the resort, must walk to Sunken Bistro, enjoyed the sea breeze and its rooftop like an excellent place for wedding party in Desaru. It took us average 1 hour drive from Johor Bahru by car to reach to the resort. Check out sandandsandals.com
