★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I enjoyed the flat white presented to me. Taste almost like the one I had in New Zealand. So good. Had a really cool area for seating here. With stools as table and chairs as chairs. You'll know what I mean when you see it. Lol. The Maybank code there is to a personal name but I checked with the cashier before transferring and she said it was right. Hope that helps.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Had 2 ice lattes in a take away cup. After we finished our drink, took the cups to pass it to the staff at the cashier to throw it away (the shop is small with limited tables and it was on saturday, i THOUGHT i would help a lil) one of your lady staff with pixie hair cut told me to throw it at level 2 next to the ladies. What? I wanted to help and you’re asking me to go to 2 levels up to throw away the takeaway cups from your shop. I was shocked and asked you mean there’s no trash bin? Her replied was “no”. My first and last time here. Its true what I heard from friends about the staffs’ attitude here :)

It’s already my second time visit. During my first visit, I tried their hand brew coffee! It was recommended by the staff! I tried both of their options and both turned out to be my favourites. For cake, I went for the elderflower one but it didn’t suit my taste.

As of second time, I ordered matcha and also cold brew white. Their cold brew white seemed to be lacking of coffee shots, milk > coffee. However, I’m officially in love with their taro and sweet potato cake!! THIS IS HEAVEN ?!! Very rich taste of both taro and sweet potato *cries*

Staffs are all very friendly so if you unsure of what to order, be sure to ask them for help! :)

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Surprisedly found Rex building turned into retro hype atmosphere in Jalan Sultan. Very nice and comfortable ambience to have a coffee or tea in this opened-air modern cafe at the entrance of Rexkl, where you can sit at the bar countertop or outside the corridor. Beside, they have cakes and snacks but the pricing is a bit steep for me because the size of the glass isn't big as mug.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Nice ambient cafe at the entrance of REXKL, suitable if you're looking for a sip of coffee in the noon without a large crowd.. Foods from other stalls are allowed for dine in at the cafe too..

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Been wanting to try this small cafe in Rex KL. Ordered seasonal lemonade and cappuccino. The lemonade was so good and refreshing. The coffee was aromatic and tasty too. The cake which is called Ultimate Chocolate, was definitely ultimate and highlight of the day. Overall it's a nice lil cafe that is not too over crowded.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Drop by Stellar at Rex KL which is run by 3 friendly amois. Great coffee and cosy environment. Very lively surroundings. I still remember I watched the original Lion King Disney here at Rex KL once upon a time ago.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Portion sizes are a bit small for the coffee but man does it pack a punch! The mocha uses local grown cocoa, the cappucino is strong despite its small size, its kombuncha is refreshing and its cold brew coffee is so good. Two thumbs up!
