β β β β β Grilled steaks and chops on a budget. I frequent this place often lastime as it's pretty good. It is still actually quite good. But the portions have dropped tremendously. The lamb chop is not only thin and small but a lot of bones making the actual portion of meat really just like a Ramly burger patty size.
Besides that, it's still ok.
P.s: not advisable to visit on a rainy day.

β β β β β Haven't been there in ages. Rm 15 for chicken chop now. Taste still the same as i remembered. Not as many people in uptown as before. Maybe due to covid or the hype is gone. It doesn't matter anyway....

β β β β β Awesome food despite the high price. I love the chicken chop either fried or roast. There were plenty of empty tables in front the shop. You gotta pay for the food here and the drinks in another shop, usually they'll take the order at your table. It's wheelchair friendly. Avoid parking at the parking lot in front the restaurant area. Double parking is normal here and they dont even leave their number. Instead, you can park at the paid parking lot beside the restaurant or a little further in the empty areas.

β β β β β Thanks to the advancing of social media, we manage to discover this place and order our dishes. This place is partially hidden in the food court, obviously the lady boss is busy with orders and bringing food to hungry eaters, I'm feeling grateful that i do not have to wait in the line and food is delivered within short time.
Me and my partner ordered, Grilled chicken chop with mushroom sauce and cheese, Deep fried chicken chop with mushroom sauce and also a plate of char kuey teow. Yes as advertised it is delicious, chop up a small chuck of the meat covered in brown sauce and munch it up, ah yes i have forgotten when is the last time i tasted such a good chicken chop.
Next the char kuey teow, personally i take char kuey teow very seriously as if i don't find it good i would just stop immediately, well guess it is just too delicious i can finish up both chicken chop and char kuey teow!! For me, char kuey teow is the best.
I would give 5-stars for the food, but might not be the environment, however this is so good, 6-stars for friendliness ? Keep it up and never give up.

β β β β β We've been at Steven's Western Corner this Saturday and became badly disappointed.
Not only that the attention & service was very slow, also the portion size was disappointing.
RM 8 for a small plastic bowl of French Fries is a real rip-off, for not saying a shame.
Unfortunately, we can't recommend the place at all.

β β β β β Reached the place on a Friday evening, around 7.30pm. Ample of seats available probably due to the rain has just stopped.
Ordered grilled rib eye (Rm 38) and grilled lamb (Rm31). Food didnβt take long to be served. Requested for medium rare rib eye, it turned out to be medium well. Fries, sunny side up (hard due to over cooked) and steak are cold as they were precooked. Black pepper sauce is aromatic but itβs additional RM1 compared to mushroom sauce.
Noticed that most of the food are pre-cooked. Would prefer my food to be cooked to order. Overall, would expect something better at this price point.

β β β β β I really enjoyed the food here. It was greatβ¦ 10 years ago! Now, the lamb chop is overpriced. The grilled chicken (one of their signature dishes) is below average and even too expensive. The mushroom sauce is too salty, the egg is like eating plastic. The fries is nothing remarkable. Might as well donβt bother with the salad as the serving has reduced drastically over the years. The chicken taste raw! And for the price we pay for the lamb chop RM 26, there are other more comfortable places with easier parking. Except for the nostalgic memories, thereβs nothing to look forward to and I donβt have to drive all the way here again
