★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Boost Pay ?? discount (but should add Grab Pay as more people use that) on drinks and Off-Peak discount on food. Okay if you get here early before it gets busy, and its RM10 a mug for happy hour - 4pm till 8pm, and you can park your beers for the night before happy hour ends.
Kitchen starts serving from 7pm, but you can get food from the Chinese cafe next door sent to you here from 430 to 1030pm - they will do it for you. They close pretty late, with the last order being at 1am, and parking is relatively easy at night here compared to many neighbouring areas.
I enjoyed a smoke free time sitting right in front, during my first visit, and had three draft Tiger beers that were pretty decent. Not great but good enough, but I hear they are inconsistent though. Didn't like the irritating Hitz FM type youngster pop songs playing in the background, and it doesn't suit this concept if you ask me, though the volume was at an acceptable level and the the sound system was pretty decent.
Staff were friendly and accommodating, but the toilets could be cleaner, men area was okay but ladies should be better.
Food prices are kinda high, but it makes sense for a late night bar, and I guess you could get a discount at the earlier times with Off-Peak. Depends on your luck, but I sat next a friendly guy and we had a great conversation for a few hours, and you get that neighbourhood Cheers bar kind of feeling that you don't get in more commercial areas.
By the way, the original famous Quenchers with the VW Beetle sticking out the front was on this row, followed by Rock Heaven and I can't remember what else, before Copper Cattle and now this. There is a Online bar near by as well, their second branch, but the cigarette smoke smell in the place is too strong.
