โ โ โ โ โ After long queue, ask me to put my baby stroller outside, cnt bring in along. I ask for the reason, the staff jz simply said no place and ask me put outside. Do they responsible for it if it lost?

โ โ โ โ โ The portions were generous and food were Fresh and tasty. Plenty of choices in the menu. Service is friendly and helpful. Overall it was comfortable and a nice dining experience.

โ โ โ โ โ This outlet has to be best or among the best in Penang or northern region, at least. Have paid multiple times more for more for sushi s elsewhere but service and quality nowhere close to this Sushi Tei outlet. Food is well prepared, every portion of it. Service is also top notch and has never been disappointing. Have been patronising at least once weekly and the restaurant's performance has been consistently good over the years. The Ebiko (request for fresh made) is the best. Love the grilled Shishamo and salted Salmon Head too. The rest are also good, and salad portion is generous. Keep it up!

โ โ โ โ โ Went for sushi tei in sunway Carnival, waited outside but no waiter is seen tending outside. Went inside with my kids and were chased out by foreigner looking waiter who seems not versed in English with no explanation given but saying tunggu saya panggil. Waited for couple more minutes but still waiters walked past us with ignorance. Walked alone inside to assess the situation, found there are few tables from previous customers not being cleaned and also a bigger empty table but looks like for staff to do paper work. There are also many foreigners looking waiters around the restaurant and kitchen and could be a factor for bad service. The food quality in the kitchen is doubtful too especially with morale of the people tending to this restaurant . With these conditions, it is not worth the higher menu price compared with other restaurant. Be wary guys.

โ โ โ โ โ The best experience ever had if compared to other outlets especially in KL. Long way from KL to Sushi Tei Sunway Carnival Seberang Jaya itโs create something satisfaction! With big portions and worth of money, great environment and great greeting from staff, highly recommended for any tourist even local people. If youโre searching place to having a great moments with fmly, friends and love one, this is the place!!! Couldnโt describe more how good they are. Only here you can feel you having a nice sushi, sashimi especially with big portions. In other places, honestly just small cut of sashimi. Great job team!!
Definitely will return on my next visit. Thank you for awesome experiences.

โ โ โ โ โ Tldr; Good environment and service but with mediocre food. Sashimi was not too fresh and their chawanmushi is just quite plain.
Ordered the sashimi with 3 types of fish, including Salmon, Tuna and Hamachi. The salmon was alright, not too sweet but the texture is still there. As for the Tuna and Hamachi, the freshness just wasn't there. It tasted okay, but the texture is just very flaky. It's quite obvious that it has been frozen for quite some time. Although the wasabi they provided was above average, but it still didn't save the sashimi dish.
As for their chawanmushi, it was a very normal one. The broth they've out in isn't as rich as the other ones I've tried. Though given the price I really couldn't expect too much, same goes to the sashimi. It was around RM36 for 9pcs of sashimi, pricing wise it is fantastic but the quality is slightly disappointing.
Overall they have a clean restaurant , with good space and quick service from the staff members. No recommendations overall due to I'm not having a proper meal over there, so no comment on their main dishes as well. If you're a sashimi fan though, maybe you should just pay more and eat it at another place.
