Sushi only arrived halfway through my main course (sushi traditionally arrives first) - citing too many orders for sushi is not an excuse especially since only half occupied.

โ โ โ โ โ My first attempt to dine here, the waiter said thereโs problem with Gas, the food will come out late like 20-30 mins late. I said Iโd come back tomorrow.
The next day, I was practically the 2nd customer of the day. I ordered their promotion item, Omurice with Ebi Fry and beef rolled enoki.
Waiting for the food for almost 45 mins!!! I saw the receipt when I sent the food it was 11.15 and I got the food almost 12pm.
Iโm really not happy.
The omurice tasted okay but the sauce they give is spicy! Seriously, since when omurice using spicy sauce? It shouldโve been tomato ketchup, so I couldnโt even eat the omelette because its covered spicy sauce.
The beef rolled was just so so, the sauce is too sweet and the beef was tough. Overall experience wasnโt that good. Total price is cheap though, only 35 ringgit, but id rather go to Rakuzen pay a little bit more and donโt have to wait 45 mins for food.

โ โ โ โ โ We we served with salmon cuts that are unfortunately - not fresh.
Mentaiko spider roll - the soft shell crab is stale.
The quality of food prepared here at tropicana gardens outlet is very poor, not a standard expected when compared to other sushi zanmai outlets.
Hopefully the management fixes issues with fresh supply of salmon or perhaps issues w the kitchen.
The outlet manager- Sherlyn is helpful and attentive to the issues highlighted, provided complimentary desserts, waived the salmon don and mentaiko spider. Thank you.

โ โ โ โ โ When we entered the restaurant, get fewer customers, and the waiter had stopped us. He mentioned that we need to wait for 45 minutes and f let us say we want to eat ramen and rice. Wow~ so fast selling. Maybe we can give it a try next time for the ramen since so fast selling. The food is not bad even though the salmon fish skin seems overcooked, but the taste is still acceptable. All menu is online. You need to scan the QR code and place your order there. The waitress there act very fast, and she will send your order list in a few minutes. It seems like every staff got their tasks, who always do set up or serve drinks will do their job accordingly. May go back to there again if not crowded since so many people if crowded you need to wait in a long time.

โ โ โ โ โ Foods are good overall. As Japanese food lover it's passable as the rice are fragrance enough on its own. Curry is average but the Cheesy Karekage is so good!
Only disappoinment is all the shrimp dishes served on my visit are slightly less fresh; Sweetness are gone and the flesh texture is on the verge of losing its bounciness.
Still, worth to revisit again.
