L	Liza Phillips on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We booked here for a family break. We booked one standard room and one Seaview room. The resort is accessed by ferry and has a small jetty. We liked: Location is convenient - can walk to Perhentian Island Resort and Tuna Maya Cafe on site had good range of local and western choices and good views/ambience. Rooms had air cons and fans Rooms reasonably modernised and were of a fair size Improvements/comments? Seaview room - not as expected (photos showed balcony with what looked like beach access but actually above kitchen with noise and greasy food smells). Pest control - cockroaches in bathroom, mosquitos (no spray in room), daughter had what looked like bedbug bites. Beach - no bay or beach for snorkeling at hotel front. Single use plastic bottles and straws (astonishing in marine park where plastic pollution damages reefs!) Plastic burning fumes - neighbouring hotel held bonfire with fumes covering resort.
N	Nurul Lyna on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 7 from 9 of us got food poisoning (purging/vomiting/fever). We read review the same case happened 3 days ago. And it's still happening even after 1 month. The room was nice/clean and the food at Barat's cafe is tasty except that we got food poisoning after that. Thanks to the receptionist for preparing the food poisoning medicine for us!
k	koh giap ho on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Terrible customer service especially the lady boss, speak like guest r not welcome, All meals(breakfast,lunch and dinner)waited for 3hours to service even u make preorder half day ago. Water supply is very low it's like my pee is bigger. Advice if u incapable to take huge order don't take order, as a resort short of manpower is not an excuse. Juice sold out and 50% of the food in the menu is not available. freaking lot of giant mosquito. Latest update, last day leaving the resort 6 out of 11 guests got food poisoning. I think we have to report to Ministry of health regarding this issue.
N	Nadya Lau on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The rooms and the scenery were great. Unfortunately, not the service. We have to wait for around two hours to get our food after ordering. The staffs' faces were always moody. We even got diarrhea from their food.
S	SHARENE LIM on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We stayed at one of the seaview room. Room is kinda old, the flooring is not level,a bit slanted already. The artificial grass at the balcony makes the room dirty. And the place is not really beach front. Resort oy provide mineral water,no instant coffee or teabag. The front is like the pic I took, u have stair case etc. The real beach front is coral view which is beside. As compare to Redang,I don't like it here as the sand has a lot of dead coral making it hard to walk. As the clarity maybe it's February the water isn't clear and no one fish were seen when snorkel. The food they only serve western when I am there, so I had to walk over to coral view as there are more choices of food. But the Transport uncle who fetch us from and to airport is very good,brings us to get nice food ♥️ anyway, pls be reminded there is no minimart here, buy whatever u want beforehand. The beer they have it at an okay price tho. RM8 per can, reasonable for an ?️.
J	Jonna Rajala on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 3 out of 4 of us got food poisoning, I don’t recommend eating here. The room we stayed in was tolerable but we didn’t expect that much from it as it was quite cheap. The walls are quite thin though, and you can hear the neighbours very well.
B	Bryan Chow on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Thin walls and noisy neighbours, especially foreigners who bring their children. Screaming, running, loud talking and door slamming at wee hours in the morning... Really takes the relaxing vibe away. The management should do something to encourage guests to be courteous to others at all times. This isn't a party place and guests should know better. Also, restaurant ran out of fish and chips. Apparently, it's said to be freshly made. Living in an area with fresh seafood, this is disappointing and guests are subjected to eating french fries and nuggets? Not worth the stay really. First and last time.
G	Gk Vin's Fernandez on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We stayed in Perhentian Island Resort. Our room was the premium beach front and I must tell you the room was clean, cold and the view was excellent. The entire staff was so friendly. From the receiption until the boat taxi, everyone was so helpful and friendly. We had a lovely stay. The beach was so clear. Beautiful corals. The choices of buffet isn't much so I advice you to carry along some snacks on your own.
