★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I used to see the owner Shankar Santhiram posting and tempting his food on social media. Went there for dinner and had Lamb Varuval Fried Rice. It was awesome. The taste is so authentic. My wife had Salmon and it was amazing. This place is a must go.
The second time we went here, I had the Tandoori Lamb Leg Grill.. OMG , seriously you will be in for a surprise. Amazing food.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The food here is just absolutely amazing. Everything is pretty much cooked to perfection with rich flavours.
The Mutton Varuval Pizza and Lamb Tandoori is a must-try. Their Spiced Ribeye Steak is perfectly charred on the outside but still medium on the inside (per request), and its all just super tender.

Butter Chicken was delicious. The Lamb was nice and tender. Good value.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It was a girls date night. Surprise birthday celebration for my girlfriend last night at The Fire Grill. Food was SUPERB & AMAZING. We love the ribeye & chimichurri, spicy lamb linguine and double chocolate mousse. All these are highly recommended. Price are reasonable too. ?

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ My wife and I went to the Fire Grill twice. The first time was on 29.1.22 for Shankar’s Saturday Sappadu (SSS) where there’s something special every Saturday afternoon. The second was on 9.2.22 for the Ribeye Special for dinner.
We give this place 3 stars. In short, the SSS had exceeded expectations. The second was a significant disappointment. Our reasons are as follows:-
1. SSS was absolutely worth it. That week was lamb shank biryani and butter chicken. For RM60 with unlimited refills (except for the lamb shank), it was an a steal. The food was excellent and I appreciated the fact that since every Saturday the menu changes, it would be difficult to ensure that special food items tastes good every week.
2. Unfortunately, the Ribeye Special was just a let down. We asked for medium well (see receipt) but the steak went beyond well done (see photo). It was just steak gone horribly wrong. Whilst it is at a promotional price of RM50, this doesn’t bode well for the other items on the grill that they offer, which is their namesake.
3. The place is clean and the staff are polite. The place is well furnished. RM9 for a can of coke is pricey.
Based on the above, coming for the SSS would be worth it depending on the items they offer i.e. Lamb shank. For the grill, we’d prefer to refrain that.
