★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A very cool and chill cafe, looks modern with beautiful artworks. Light breakfasts available. The Yarl thosai was quite nice as its not so oily. The appam was delicious too and creamy. The Bru Coffee tarik was good too. Prices were above average. Can't see that they accept any eWallet, but accept credit card.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Came here, around 720am, for breakfast. Ordered sweet appam, plain tosai, plain puttu, teh tarik and hot tea. All dishes are quite delicious. Clean spacious bistro?
However, the complexity of ordering using web was inconvenient.
For 1st timer or irregular customer, how will we know what to order, if we do not know what it is and how does it look????! There should be a picture etc.
Furthermore, it is quite difficult to ask for the staff help, because it seems only 2 were taking and serving orders.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Aqua Panna as mineral water is served here.. come on! Bold but I like their confidence though. Lovely place, wonderful array of food and that fried bittergourd (not oily nor with too much flour) is just purr-fect!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ If you wanted to try some delicious Sri Lankan cuisine, I recommend this place. Good food, good ambiance, and great service. Must try their chicken masala thosai, chicken kottu(idiyapam) and their tea... Oh yea, dont forget to try their Appam..

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Located same row as Starbucks, just opposite of McDonalds in the TTDI Tun Fuad commercial square . The food ( try out their gula Melaka apum balik ) and ambiance ( decor, music, air-condition etc ) are both 4 stars . It is a wonderful difference compared to the typical banana leaf rice shop or mamak shop . Toilets are clean and stylishly renovated . Menu is simple and there is lunch set menu which costs just under RM 20 for food and drink. The only issue is service was a bit slow during lunch hours - the cashier was also the only person serving food . If the customer in front of you was slow to decide what food to have, that made the wait even longer . Though there were other staff in the shop, they were just moving about handling other things and not helping out to clear the long queue … which was annoying if you are rushing back to work, in between appointments . So, plan to come just before or after the lunch crowd comes or if you can’t then have spare time to stand in the queue .

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Second Yarl I’ve tried in a week. Quality of the food is astounding. Delicious and delectable. They have hit the sweet spot with the ambience. Perfect for casual dining which would have traditionally been a rather uncomfortable environment.

Puttu was really good and crumbly, omelette is the best omelette in the world (loved the veg & onion addition), puttu dinner set served with 3 curries, there was one spicy one ?? - Mutton varuval was too dry, a bit hard as well. pro tip: do not order mutton twice (or any meats) — Idiyappam kothu with mutton was ????? veges was my favourite dish. it was soft and well-cooked with lots of spices but definitely not too spicy. very easy to pair with kothu, puttu, and honestly everything!!
For drinks:
Mango lassi - sweet and sour, pungent mangoes, creamy yoghurt texture
Masala tea - Food sidekick said it was really strong and helped cure the spiciness. ?
Staffs were SUPER great, friendly, fast, attentive and all-around great service! Vibes and ambience are chill, perfect for family and friends and pair and weeknight dinners. ?
My favourite was the veges and puttu dish + omelette (add-on)
Overall: 9/10
