★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Excellent service by all the staff especially Suresh, Shantini and Param. Steamboat dinner was very good. But the highlight was Cameron Suite which is spacious and with a balcony to enjoy the birds chirping away in the morning. Perfect for couples wanting a getaway from the city

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ When you plan your trip to the highlands, you will need a retreat from all the people in the towns as you go up the mountain. Hence you need The Lakehouse, a beautiful retreat with first class service wonderful rooms and a cozy restaurant and bar. All set a Elizabethian style timber frame house set up on the hill side overlooking a lake. Our junior suite was high with a four poster bed and giant bathroom, emmaculate clean and the staff are so helpful and knowledgeable about the area, enjoy your stay, you won't be disappointed.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Lovely place with lovely staff. The floors are very creaky, not for light sleepers. Had a very comfy stay at the Cameron Suite, but DON'T use the fireplace as there is no chimney. It was rainy and cold during my stay so having a tub for hot baths was a great comfort ☺️

But, i also faced some not so good experience here:
The waiter told us that we could enter if we order food at the restaurant. Only after they lead us to the seat, then they told us that we need to order certain minimum number of main course. (It's better if can notify us earlier on the 'minimum' thing so that consumer can have a better thoughts before deciding to eat at the restaurant)

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Book 2D1N then could not help but extend to another night. Staffs really friendly, humble, helpful. Was amaze by the atmosphere, the nature the breeze was nice to chill there. Junior suite really top notch as they really maintain it well. If you are really looking to relax, this is the getaway. Once you enter Lakehouse, its a total different experience away from city. Looking forward to stay here again.

staff were warm and friendly.
breakfast was good.
room was comfortable and clean.
the areas consider to improve:
there is no brighter light is the room. can't read a book.
space for shower is too small, can't close the door initially when we try to adjust the warm water.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Went for a 3d2n stay and the place is remarkably beautiful! Every corner of the place is photo worthy. Stayed at their Cameron Suite, the other block on the hill and the room is so spacious and the only suite with outdoor terrace overlooking the lake. Best services given and the staff are polite, friendly and helpful. They washed our car, set up the fireplace in our room, attentive to our needs and the list goes. We had a wonderful time staying there. Thank you for the top notch services and keeping that place clean and comfortable! Will definitely return ❤️
