Good hotel for backpackers. Not fancy or luxurious in any way, actually pretty basic, but clean. We had our own bathroom with a large shower and toilet, a good large bed but else little space, concrete floors and bad lighting. The price was about 130€ for 3 days which is not cheap but OK. Jalan alor, a street food passage is right next door which is great.

The worst I've been so far. DO NOT let the pictures fooled you. I'm sure it used to be a lovely place, but it is definitely far from that now. The room is damp, with wallpaper / paint peeling off. It is infested with mosquito. Dust is all over the place, especially on the blinds. Squeaky, dampened bed. Door lock is jam. Poorly lit bathroom. The ventilation block facing the back lane is extremely dirty. The external yard is in poor condition with rotten floor deck and miserable garden chairs and table. Fully paid for 2 nights through Agoda, but just couldn't make myself stay for another 10mins. Should've took pictures to show proof, but was so disgusted and upset that I couldn't wait to leave the place. It is in an absolute horrible condition. Oh yes, the only thing probably worth mentioning as well, is the Bangladeshi who is there to greet you, with his cap worn backwards, with singlets, shorts and slippers and asking for your name while fixing his eyes on some Pakistani drama. That is the reception you'll be expecting.

The pictures online gives a nice view of the venue. However, the facilities in the hotel is subpar. The hot shower was not working well and the TV has no channels. I wish the place is better maintained as the place has a lot of potential.

Hotel is in a great location. So close to so many stalls and the Jlan Alor market. VERY basic amenities, but was clean. Shower was hot with good water pressure and the A/C worked well. Kind of a dark spot and could be noisy, but pretty good for the price.

Location is great. But the rooms are small and poorly maintained. When we first checked in, the floor was dirty and there was hair uncleared in the toilets. Be prepared for mosquitoes for companion in the room. The toilet ventilation fan is noisy, and is turned on with the aircon, so it runs the whole night long.

Went back to KL for a short business trip. This is right smacked in the center of the city. Super convenient to get anywhere from here. Easy to flag down a taxi, and reachable by Uber or Grab car. But the room I was in must have been right under a water pump or something, there was this constant machine churning sound all night for both nights I was there. Deco was nice, bed was comfy. Service was prompt and helpful but they could not change the room for me as they were fully booked.

Was looking for a basic place to stay in KL in between hotels- I would not recommend this place to anyone! I arrived and the bathroom was smelly and not properly cleaned. I found a worm in the shower which I reported to the front desk who seemed more irritated than anything else to have to sort it out. The clean up job was less than satisfactory.... The room was also full of mosquitos so was given a coil by the front desk. Cleanliness/bugs aside I don’t recommend the area either and as a female solo traveller wouldn’t opt for it again. It’s also incredibly noisy at night so difficult to sleep. In terms of customer service- the day shift guy was grumpy and irritable, while the night shift guy was a lot nicer.

The hotel is definitely worth the price and has a homey and cozy feeling during the stay. We stayed in a room at the back. Very quiet, high ceilings, and spacious toilet with nice rainfall showerhead. The common space, the yard, has a big old tree as the center respecting nature and the surrounding of the community. Walking distance to ***y places including good food mamak, Lot 10, Pavilion, Jalan Alor and more. We originally booked 1 night, then continued the following 3 nights based on our satisfaction with the stay. Highly recommend the place for travelers who enjoys food and close to Bukit Bintang area.
