β β β β β Average, not worth the price.
Price was much expensive per pax ~RM80+ compared to ma maison. But the food is only on par with ma maison.
In terms of service, the waiter there need more training. Instead of guiding you to your seat, its like coffee shop sit wherever you like and they dont even bother to welcome you. For food recommendations, they are not well trained.
Overall, would not return as neither food, service / ambient is memorable enough.

β β β β β Recommend the pork loin as opposed to the fillet, as the loin is juicer and meat is tender.
Go for the sets which has two types of meat (such as the shrimp & pork or the oyster & pork) to get a taste of both worlds.

β β β β β I have always been a fan. Sometimes, i would come as often as twice a week to order their thick cut pork loin before MCO. However this particular occasion was rather disappointing. The meat was dry (wasnt well rested after cooking maybe? ). FROM the batter, looms like it was over fried, looks more "dark brown" than "orange brown." The second portion came with the same result, also dry. Reason for this review is I hope they could return to their previous standards. HopeFULLY on my next visit, i will be proven wrong and it was just a one off incident.

β β β β β Ginjo pork loin katsu set was quite good. Crunchy and not dry. Perfect match with their sauce and white sesame grind. Dessert homemade almond tofu was really nice. Milky, smooth, buoyant and refreshing.

β β β β β Once in a while, we would go for the Japanese style deep fried pork cutlets. Heard about this restaurant serving a rather different kind and is good. I had the one called 'Fatty Buri & Pork Fillet set which was a combination of pork and fish katsu. Nicely done, so crisp and light the batter. The pork loin was cooked just right, so was the fish and it was really fresh. Generous helpings of shreddered cabbage and lettuce, can ask for refill. Service was good too as our green tea was constantly refill too.
