Horrible service by Prof Dr Verra Ramani !! The tittle itself is Professor but not professional at all with super bad service, rude, impatient and no manners!! The worst thing is she keep scolding her patient. HELLO? You think you are a teacher ??? Please do not come here OR if you want to come here better you look for other doctor. Worst service ever ..

This Hospital Saved my life Thanks to the amazing Dr. Experienced and well Knowledgeable. Note I had an eye problem for close to 2years. Been to as tons of eyes specialist, non yielded any results. As I recommended to Tun Hussein and Damn my problem was solved & I can't thank them enough

I strongly felt that the name is misleading as it implies a 'national' hospital but it is privately owned. I went to see a Prof and Dato titled Drs but her attitude was less than professional. The nurses were nice though. She was not sympathetic or even caring and even retorted that I asked a particular question. I didn't check all comments before I went there or else I would have gone to other hospitals. They overcharged too.

I was using specs from the year 2000 till 2022 and using contact lens for past 16 years. I went to Vista for pre assessment in order to do lasik. My vision was close to -7 short sighted in both eyes. After 5 mins of checkup they told me that I m not eligible for lasik since my cornea thickness is 510 microns in right eye and left eye 485 microns. Tears started rolling down my cheeks. Then my husband told me to get second opinion I read reviews of Thoneh.I did pre assessment spent four hours doing all the tests came to know that I m eligible for Femto lasik.I did my lasik on February 24,2022. On the day of my surgery I was afraid but Dr.Muiz explained each and every step during the procedure which made me feel better. After the procedure it was like magic , I felt as if I got super power.Thank you Dr.Muiz. May God bless you abundantly.I thank the optometrist team Pamela, Adam and Puvaneswaran.

I brought my mum for a follow up with Dr Choong Yean Yaw. So disappointed with his rude response and immorality. He DID NOT explain to me on my mother's eyes situation after checking up. I took the initiative to ask him if my mum needs to do surgery and he didn't tell me directly but to instruct my mum to answer on behalf of him. When asking about the surgery charges, he replied me if I'm rich I may go for Mercedes benz pricing lens but if I'm poor I should go for Kancil pricing lens. I did comment on this matter at the front desk but I have yet to receive any calls from the HR department. Very upset with this well known hospital.

I was wearing spectacles since i was 9 years old. Finally mustered my courage to do Lasik. At first, i went to an eye clinic in Subang Jaya to do pre-lasik assessment (the assesment was free). I was told that I’m not eligible to do Lasik as i have thin corneas. Right eye: 468 micrometers Left eye: 473 micrometers Standard thickness for Lasik: 500 micrometers The clinic offered me ICL procedure ( implantable contact lenses). I refused to do so as it’s much more expensive, halal status is questionable and i feel like might as well i use the normal soft lenses. It’s safe to say that i was devastated on that day. My husband was trying to pujuk me and all but i was still unhappy. Hahaha. I told him, i read in a google review that someone with thin corneas managed to do Lasik in THONEH. I don’t want to put any hope, but my husband convinced me to at least try one more time in THONEH. So we went to THONEH and did the pre-lasik assessment. The test was definitely more comprehensive and i went there twice as the first test i missed out the doctor. Doctor Muiz said, yes the cornea for my right eye is thin with higher power, but he reassured me that he CAN operate my eyes! He said that i might not be able to achieve 0 power, maybe left around -0.25 or so but it is still worth it. So i went for it. 27th January 2022, 3:00pm. I went for the Femtolasik surgery. The procedure was done by two machines, first machine was to create flap and second machine was to reshape the cornea. It was painless and very quick. Now, I’m on my 5th day post surgery. I still couldn’t believe that I was given the opportunity to see without my spectacles anymore. Alhamdulillah alhamdulillah alhamdulillah. Those who are still contemplating to do Lasik, I strongly recommend to go for Doctor Muiz in THONEH. Thanks to Dr Muiz, Adam, Puvaneswaran and Pamela. A++ for the service! Cost breakdown is as follows: Pre-Lasik assessment: RM 189 Pre-Lasik Eye Drop (hydration): RM54 Femtolasik: RM 7015 Total cost: RM7258.

Literally don’t recommend this hospital! Legit every time I visit I get charged soo pricey and the doctors there made me visit so many times and yet can’t find the problem. Quite disappointed with the level 3 nurse’s behaviour . So ridiculously unprofessional saying that β€œ if you think you’re coming from far, you can find other doctor β€œ. Too much and I’ve definitely told the management and took her full name down. Another thing is I waited for 2 and half hours there and went back without even seeing the doctor! So ridiculous that they told me to go back since the doctor has surgery to do. If doctors have surgery to do please get the patient to come back another time. POOR MANAGEMENT SYSTEM! And I almost get paid by only waiting for 2 and half hours. Told them off that I’m leaving this place without even want to pay any amount and I walked off. I thank god I’ve found other ophthalmologist and cornea specialist for my eye. I DONT RECOMMEND THIS HOSPITAL AT ALL!!!

Please avoid this hospital and particularly one senior lady doctor. She might be great at her skills, but is highly unprofessional, and unpleasant and does not provide any explanation for anything she decides. I made the biggest mistake consulting her. Please do not waste money seeing her. There are many other better eye doctors who can communicate more politely elsewhere. She is practising medicine like it's still 1970s with absolute disregard for autonomy or patient-oriented care. Look through other comments about her in this page (others have named her) if you think I might be biased.
