β β β β β Weekend Buffet Dim Sum was not worth the money. Speed of service was very poor. 3/4 of our time there was waiting for food to be served.
Might as well just order ala carte with the money. The past few visits, I ordered from the ala carte menu, food was great.

β β β β β The weekend dim sum buffet here is great and special. Way beyond my expectation. Although the price is a lil pricey, totally worth a try. 19 different special and unique dim sums to choose.
The entrance to the restaurant will surprise u!! By the way, the space there is cosy and chill. Way to go modern chinois!!! Hi

β β β β β Way Modern Chinois is a classy, sensual avant-garde modern cuisine restaurant specializing in contemporary Chinese / Asian cuisine. The essence of Way is modern fine dining Chinese cuisine served with a subtle twist and sophistication.
Verdict: Individual Set Meal comprised of rice, Salted Fish Kailan εΈι±Όθ₯θ, Black Pepper Beef Tenderloin ι»θ‘ζ€ηζ³. Words canβt describe the immense flavours of all the dishes ??? Flavourful & absolutely divine. Kailan was fresh and the salted fish with oyster sauce gave the perfect blend of savouriness to the meal! Beef tenderloin was thin, tender and rich in flavour from the black pepper sauce ? Impressive style of cooking two simple dishes as it brought out the true essence of Chinese style cooking ?
The HIGHLIGHT was definitely their Wagyu Porcupine Bun ιεηε
- Baked bun with generous filling of black peppered Wagyu beef felt like a fantasy ?? Cute, contemporary & creative dim sum indeed!!
Their beef was so good that even beef with your bestie will disappear ??? They didnβt compromise on their quality and service which earned my respect. Way Modern Chinois isnβt your typical Chinese restaurant, and you will have no regrets dining with them ?β€οΈ

The only thing you can do better is offer more truffle inspired dishes.
The signature duck could use heavier truffle taste, I don't mind paying extra for that.

β β β β β Love it here. They never disappoint. Service is great. Efficient, patient and kind staff. You enter through a mysterious lift door (always amusing to first-timers). Lighting in the space is dim and romantic, and trendy milennials dining here always seem to be blushing and whispering to each other (a little awkward when you, on the other hand, are eating and shouting to "pass the duck!" to your boomer parents, cousins, kids, aunties, uncles etc etc). Anyway, who cares. Go for the good food and be as respectful as you can to the couple in love on the other table. =)

β β β β β edit: after a 2nd visit, the place is still great and certainly deserves more than the current 4.1 rating. Presentation is outstanding and consistent and the food still great!
Really enjoyed the lunch here. Ambiance is great, both nice and cozy but also upscale without being too fancy. Presentation was superb and taste ranged from ok to great. Value for money was also good, the prices are very fair. Finally, service was also very good. Overall very happy and will return!
