โ โ โ โ โ Rm 36 for the medium sized Indonesian Tofu. Tasted weak compared to SS2 Wang Chiew. Had a bunch of tofu, super thinly sliced fish, some sotong and ONE (yes ONE) tiny prawn. Very poor value for money for a mediocre tasting dish.

โ โ โ โ โ Their fish are quite fresh here. Do try their Indon curry tofu, their specialty. Their friend meehoon and kuey teow are also nice. Good food, affordably priced, 5 star for me.

โ โ โ โ โ A long overdue review. Was there sometime earlier this year and it was really quite a nice find via google map. The food is tasty, pricing is acceptable and the service staff was friendly as well.
Itโs a small restoran, so could be noisy during peak timing. We were alright as we went in a big group with 3 kids. So we contributed to some noise as well. Haha.
The meal costed less than RM200 for 4 adults and 3 kids.

I've always noticed this particular restaurant everytime I go to Damansara Jaya area but I have never thought of coming here for a meal, until I ran out of idea on dining place one fine weekend. It is quite packed especially on weekend so in order to avoid waiting for tables, I called in advance to book a table.
A typical Chinese restaurant settings with pictures (with description) of available dishes printed on the wall to make ordering easier.
โพ Steamed estuary grouper - brought my own fish to be cooked (of course with charges) and they did it competently.
โพ Buttermilk deep fried squid - overdone resulting in chewy and rubbery texture and it didn't help that the sauce was barely enough to cover the squid. Flavour-wise it was OK
โพ Marmite pork ribs smeared with sesame seeds - kid's favourite
โพ Stir fried kangkung
โพ Braised homemade taufu
Overall, I found that the cooking was average without any wow factor. The only upside is that the price was quite affordable and portion was quite generous.

But don't charge rm3 for a tupperware to tapau la.. That's too expensive. Even grap don't do that.

โ โ โ โ โ This place had the same menu as Wang Chiew in SS2. The location was also a Wang Chiew branch a few years ago but it closed down. I took the courtesy to ask our server if they are the same. She said it is similar.
The food is really similar, look, taste and styling. As you can see from the menu, items are close too.. We ordered their specialty tofu, nestum prawns, salted egg bitter gourd and lemon chicken. It was pretty good.
We opted a takeaway. But, it is a normal Chinese restaurant deco with good food nonetheless.
Service was fast as we were first anyways. The chef and waitress was very polite. They knew what to recommend as well.
