β β β β β Yin's has a nice atmosphere and chill cafe aesthetic to come in and get a nice cup of coffee. Nothing to shout about, but definitely a very comfortable cafe with unintimidating environment to walk into. I ordered an black coffee and Yin's Big Breakfast (which I forgot to take pictures of because I was hungry haha). The plate servings itself has seemed to change from photos online as they now serve a half roasted tomato and a mashed avocados (it's not guacamole if you just smash up an avocado) instead of mushrooms and cherry tomatoes alongside a slab of luncheon meat, sausage, scrambled eggs, salad, and two slices of sourdough bread. The individual components are lacking in salt and overall flavour. So while it wasn't terrible, the dish itself won't get my personal recommendation to anyone. But I'll definitely be alright coming back if I am ever in the area.
PS: the toast was the best part of the dish. So maybe just come in and get the bread haha

β β β β β The ambiance is good but can be too noisy if it's crowded.
The food is delicious. Would definitely come back for the tomato soup and lasagna.

β β β β β While some at the counter looked tasty, overall they have limited selection. The staff was friendly. The bakery appeared spacious and clean. The prices are a bit steep in my opinion, compared to other nearby bakeries.

β β β β β The breakfast meals served here was just average. The half boiled egg was served cold and the baked eggs are largely with capsicums. Their sourdough breads was great though where people largely come here to take that away.

β β β β β The apple pie was good. Nice crust and natural apple sweetness. The bagel however is a total disappointment. The bread as hard as a rock and no tastes of sourness. Better to go Singapore Woodland Sourdough for a better taste experience.

β β β β β Well maybe I was expecting a lot about this bakery because of all the good reviews. To be honest just my humble opinion, I would say the big breakfast was just average and the sourdough could have been better. The avocado was not fresh ?. We ordered 2 cups of flat white, but they came as cafe latte, it was quite milky to be flat white. Nevertheless we ordered another cup because the caffeine was quite lacking. ? Since it is situated opposite Starling mall, so parking is no longer an issue. I have always dreaded to come to uptown due to parking issue. On a lighter note, this bakery is very spacious and thus I'm not so concerned about the social distancing & SOP.

β β β β β Good food. Love the sandwiches. Superb sourdough! Awesome coffee ? - contacted them few days before through WhatsApp for table booking of 7 pax and theyβre able to accommodate. Happy with their services.
p/s: we also take away scones, apple pie and bagel which turned out to be great as well βΊοΈ
