โ โ โ โ โ Best dim sum place so far that i have been to in penang.
Reminds me of KL style dum sum as they have sweet sauce.. (most northern dim sum places dont usually have sweet sauce apparently. Parking is a bit hard to find but definitely worth the time for me.

โ โ โ โ โ Like the environment and design, you can still find those โHong Kong Styleโ traditional design + modern over here. Food quality seems average to me, as they serve and focus more on traditional dim sum. Went there around 715am, but the tables are almost full and some of the dim sum still not available yet ? Egg Tart is a MUST TRY!! So take away half dozen for family. Definitely will go again n again if craving for traditional dim sum โจโจ

โ โ โ โ โ Came here for brunch on a public holiday (May 4, 2022), had to wait around 20 mins before getting seated. Lots of tourits.
Spent around 52 RM for all orders on the first + additional second picture.
My favorite was the egg tart (so good!! Smooth, nice crust, perfect sweetness), hakao (fresh, big prawns for fillings - but standard hakao skin) and the beancurd roll.
Radish cake was quite good. Golden yolk bao wasn't bad but the butter is overpowering the salted egg, good consistency, the bao was too thick for me.
Fish ball, siew may, steamed tofu were so so.
Service was much better than lots of Penang's restaurants/hawker on George Town.
Will definitely come again for the Egg tart

โ โ โ โ โ This is my 3rd visit. Love the design and the rebranding of Yong Pin restaurant. The young boss are good and friendly. However the tim sum seems a bit under temperature than what i would prefer. Maybe it was weekday, so the options are limited too.

โ โ โ โ โ We visited the restaurant as a family of four for late breakfast. Although we had to queue and wait for almost 15 minutes to get in the food was worth the wait. You just go to the counter to pick your choice of food and pay when you leave. The food was fresh and tasty. The prices was also reasonable. The place was also clean and service quick and friendly.

โ โ โ โ โ For years Yong Pinๆฆๆง has been my go-to place whenever I crave for Dim Sum. Although not offering a wide variety of choices, they know what they are good at and only offer their very best to their customers. It's a big step up after the business is moved into the new premise at Kimberly Street, the cleanliness, the retro deco and the well ventilated ambience will be truly appreciated by their customers. The only downside is the traffic condition, looking for parking spot will be a real pain during holiday seasons and long weekend.

โ โ โ โ โ Four Star for.service and.environment. Food just normal dim sum but have 50' old shanghai feel. Price is cheap so no complain for the food. A dim sum place for full stomach at affordable price.
