★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This used to be a small Malay kampong in the early days of George Town. There were many in this area, unfortunately most of them have disappeared. Then years ago it was a small green area where in the late afternoon / evening a small (thieves) market was held.
The new park is a much better use of this space. Just to sit and watch the world go by. Could do with more spaces like this in George Town.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A beautiful spot in Georgetown! We were lucky that the park had been decorated for a festival and it was beautiful, colourful and absolutely stunning! Great place to get some shade or watch the locals play basketball on a court next door
