โ โ โ โ โ Best dental clinic in malaysia... And personally I think in SEA. I travel from Singapore to see the most professional dentist to handle my dental hygiene.

โ โ โ โ โ TLDR: Horrible front desk service. Receptionist persistently rude and arrogant, acts like she owns the clinic.
My husband and I have been going to Yee Dental at Bangsar Shopping Mall for years. Our dentist, Jo-Ee, is fantastic. However, one of the receptionists is horrible to deal with. She's been rude on countless occasions, conducts herself in an arrogant way and makes you feel like getting an appointment with them is a favour. We were 30 mins late for an appointment yesterday evening and called them 5 times - but no one picked up the phone, leading us to think we had got the appointment date wrong. They did not call us at any point to confirm the appointment either. Called them at 9am this morning and the conversation went like this:
Us: "Hi, I wanted to check if his appointment is for today?"
Reception: "No. It was yesterday he missed it."
Us: "Oh we thought you guys were closed because no one picked up the phone."
Silence
Us: "So, is there any way we can get an appointment today?"
Reception, in the most arrogant dead-sounding tone: "I don't think so. We're fully booked."
Us: "Uh, okay, thanks." (We were completely taken aback by her tone.)
Line goes dead. She hung up the phone without even saying bye.
We've been going to them regularly for years, 2-3 appointments per person each year, spending thousands. And this is how you get treated? The best dental team doesn't matter if you can't make it past the horrible front desk service. The receptionist acts like she owns the clinic (maybe she does? we don't know). That's a clinic we won't be going back to.

โ โ โ โ โ located on the 2nd floor of BSC, the space is modern and well done. Dr. Joe Yee is extremely proficient, patient and good. He is highly recommended. Having said that, be prepared to pay a higher price that most other dental clinics.

โ โ โ โ โ My wife went to this surgery and thought it was good so I thought I would give it a try. I looked at reviews before booking, and the consensus seemed to be "great dentists, terrible reception". Nonetheless I booked and went at the appointed time. I approached the reception. The receptionist was playing with her mobile phone, and despite my standing right next to the counter for some time (I'm not small) continued tapping away. I coughed loudly whereupon she looked up - but not so much as an apology. My appointment was at 4.30pm. 5.15pm and I was still waiting, with no apology, or explanation as to how much longer I would have to wait. I said that I had to leave for a meeting and left.
This was on Monday. I gave the clinic 48 hours to contact me to apologise and to reschedule, but have heard nothing.
Sadly I will never find out how good the dentists are. If you are a dentist at this practice, you are being let down by your front desk.

โ โ โ โ โ Iโve been patronising Yee Dental for more then 5 years for my regular dental check and cleaning. But recently I decided to try another dentist for convenience and glad I did!
Now I realise how expensive they charge. Double the price and double the time spent on me. I donโt need you to spend more then 1 hour cleaning and not only that,I donโt recall the doctor explaining or talking to me about how and why my gums bleed during the process and also never once mentioned the health of my gums or teeth.
Last but not least the ladies at the front desk has poor etiquette and very curt on the phone. They may be located at a posh mall and nice interior but lack the professionalism and care.

โ โ โ โ โ Lots of people have a bad service experience here, never happened to me, I was always attended professionally, by the reception and especially by the dentists. The service provided by the dentists is exceptional, world class. The cleaning for example is one of the most delicate and considerate I've ever had. Absolutely recommended.
