Mini dim sum feast for me today from The Ming Room. I now understand why everyone says their dim sums are the best because there’s no turning back once you’ve tried their premium quality dim sums ???
The highlight was the deep fried prawn dumpling as it was stuffed with jumbo succulent prawns ??? The sweet sauce for the stir fried radish cake really elevated the whole meal ( its taste is similar to the sauce used for Chee cheong fun ) ?
Order: Deep fried sesame ball with banana, fried prawn dumpling & stir fried radish cake

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Use to be my favourite restaurant for dim sum brunch but not anymore. The dim sum was hard to swallow and I can’t name a dish that was good. The BBQ chicken bun was a lame copycat of the famous Tim Ho Wan where the crust was soft and the filling too salty. The worst was the Wat Tan Hor (flat noodles) that was a tasteless blob of starch, really hard to eat. And don’t bother with the egg tarts and the salted fried bean curd… it’s just not worth the calories or the price.
Also it was so hard to get the attention of the wait staff as they are too busy packing deliveries. Well this is probably my last visit after such a disappointing experience.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We had dinner at this Chinese restaurant...recommended by one of our local friends... Overall experience was good .. food wise was great except for 2 dishes which I personally feels is not that fantastic..
The Charcoal Pork Ribs and Fried Hokkien Noodles... They do not have the texture taste from charcoal grill and the noodle does not have the Wok Hey...tastes like they just mixed the sweet sauce and noodle and serve it on the table...can't taste any fragrance and fried noodle texture .
